Hum, I used to like Isis and Aphrodite, but I have changed over to Bridgid. I am no longer a maid, but not a mother, and certainly not crone yet. I am an artisan, musician, and crafts person as well as a brewer, so Bridgid is perfect for me. Interesting choice in Hecate. She does tend to change, like the Moon. I'm afraid she's a little too scary for me, though I have done mime of her and have impersonated her on New Year's night - to the delight of my fellow pagans. I'm afraid her power was just a little much for me, though. :)

I have a few favorites actually--a blending of Egyptian, Celtic and Norse gods and goddesses--such as Isis, Bast, Maat, Sekhmet,Freyja, Hecate, Bridget, Cerridwen, Rhiannon....for the gods..Bragi, Ohdinn, Lugh, Ogma, Horus, and Seshat...real mix of favorites..no?

I think the Goddess I relate to and have called out from myself the most would be Kali Ma....though I did call up Persephone with incredible results..Kali is often thought of the Dark Goddess or the Dark Mother and is generally thought to be feared etc etc but to me she is the part of me that my Mother Bear aspects come from...she is also my Defender and Justice aspects and my protective aspects over my kids (all kids including my own) and abuse victims etc etc.....

I'm rather drawn to Kwan Yin, and a little to Diana. Two completely different pantheons I know, but hey, you can't really mess with who you are drawn too. God wise however I'm really not drawn to anyone. I'm more of Goddess type of person.

I'm drawn towards Diana, because I feel a close connection to the moon and have always automatically drifted towards her. I also am drawn towards Bastet and the Green Man.
