I'd live in a cave or wooden hut up a mountain with a forrest and my own veg and animals. I like the old heavy skirts etc too but I think it's have to be somewhere that I could still ave my laptop as my connection to the world, lol.

It's a shame about the computer really but I need tesco to deliver the stuff I cannot grow and I need to still have contact with the occasional human although never seeing any probably wouldn't bother me at all, lol!

we are too cut off from the people we like to talk to without the computer - Satellite Uplink - the only way to Wilderness!

Like you I could see myself both in the past and into the far future. I think some of it would have to depend on whether or not I'd know about this time. If we are talking time travel or just being born in another time. Going into the past with the knowledge of what is possible today may make doing some things back then harder although there are some things I would prefer doing that way. Of course the future would be incredible depending on what type of future it is. If it's something like Demolition man where everything is controled and nothing that is bad for us is allowed I'm not sure I'd want to live there. If it's something more like Star Trek, then sign me up and beam me there :) I'd love it.

Oh yeah I know what you mean with the writing :) That's one reason I love my RPG's. I can be anything and anywhere. It is a lot of fun that way.

I think I am purely stuck in the past, either in the Victorian era, reading the works of romantic poets, and dressed in velvets and lace. Or a Southern Belle, Mistress of her plantation having a dozen strapping Sons, and raising live stock and cotton. The future of living off planet earth and traveling stars is exciting, I just don't see the romance in it.

I think it kind of depends on the 'how you are lookin' at it'. Think about it - going to another planet and maybe meeting aliens that are as beautiful as our mythological elves or a whole world full of Vincent from Beauty and the Beast Its all in the point of view
