Anything about your home you really dislike?

I have a lovely home with my wife and son, but there are several problems when it comes to noise. The first is that over the other side of the road, and a couple of hundred metres away, the railway track runs, so we have a lot of trains at weird hours. Also, right next door is the fire station, so everytime there is a fire, or car accident, the siren goes off. That really freaked my son out for a few years. Now, I did know of these things when I bought the house, but lots of trees were cleared since then, so now the trains are a lot more noticeable, and also, the firefighters were all supposed to have pagers, thus not needing to use the siren anymore. Oh, and we have drunks walking past late on Friday and Saturday nights, quite rowdily. Anyone else got things they really don't like about their home?

My home is located on the highway.So there is continous noise of vehicles moving.So everytime day and night I hear the noise of the vehicles.I am fed up with this!

Well, I guess the traffic will ever stop. Any chance of ever moving, or is it something you have to try to put up with?

yeah,I am moving to a diffrent place next month.Hope it will be a quiet place.

I like my home. Is under the roof:) very bohemian but I don't like that I don't a have garden to relax and read in. Maybe in couple of years I will live in such a house.

I have to admit, I like the garden for reading and relaxing, but mine isn't looking great. With water resrictions here, were not allowed to water on certain days. At least winter is getting nearer, so hopefully plenty of rain! I wish you well in getting a nice house,with a nice garden in the future!
