I would say pretty much anything that comes off of a bar b que, ribs, chicken-you name it. Back when I was single, we had a joke going around saying "dont go to a bbq joint on the first date, she'll know what kind of a slob you are". I usualy take a pile of napkins when I go to those places. Take care, Terry

I think for me it's pretty much anything with sauce. lol I always end up with sauce on my mouth, so I definitely need a napkin if I'm eating anything that has sauce on it.

My wife is from the Philippines and just about everything she eats is with her hands..if her friends come over they always look at me and ask if its is ok for them to eat with their hands..what am i going to say? hands were invented before knives and forks..so napkins are needed for everything except soup...and then they just slurp it up..san spoon..lol

I always try to use napkins (when available) when I eat. But really must have tissue paper available when eating any kind of pasta with sauce, noodles with soup (especially when using chopsticks), ice cream, fish, and fried chicken.

Usually spaghetti, manwhich, pizza, tacos are the foods I need a napkin with. Also I don't wear white shirts when I eat those foods.

I use a napkin with almost everything I eat. BBQ ribs is a must.I like to cook Maryland Blue Crabs on Sundays. You definately need napkins for those. Lloyd

LOL, I have a two year-old son and an 11 month-old daughter, we don't use napkins, we use baby wipes for maximum cleaning power! Kids make such a mess with everything they eat. In general though I use a napkin with any greasy foods and any foods I have to eat with my hands like burgers, pizza and even toast. I just think it looks polite to wipe your hands after you've been eating with them, even if you haven't made a mess of them. But hey, that's just me. I'm a bit pedantic about things like that.

I cant eat buffalo wings without a napkin because i dont like to eat it with a fork and knife. i love to eat them with my hands and then licking my fingers. In Indian food, my favourite delicay is Dal Chawal ( i mean Rice with curry of lntils or pulses)i love to eat them in our traditional way and then i need to use a napkin because without that it is not possible, ;) BBQ ribs is also ofcourse a thing that one cant eat without a napkin and i too use a napkin for that.

Without a doubt ribs or any kind of spaghetti, or buffalo wings, nacho's, boiled crawfish (you'll need a whole roll of paper towels) watermelon, and popcorn! (buttery fingers!)
