Do you help your kid when he falls to get up?.....

Hey i am from india lot of tourists visits in our area .one day one of my friend so a foreigner walking with his kid suddenly the kid fell down when his foot accidently struck in a stone .when the guide tried to help the child to get up the parent prevented him saying that let him up on his kneels himself..what u say if your child fell down will you help him or he will not....so that it may help him in future.

I think it really depends on the fall. There are times when I do help my kids get up. Then there are times when I don't. I give them a second to see if they need my help before I help them.

I would help him up but only after I paused. I wouldn't want to pull someone to his feet if he was seriously injured before checking the damage. If someone can move and bend of their own accord, they are less likely to be gravely hurt, so I always observe for a second or tow to see how they are moving on their own before I try to get them moving further.

Well when my kids fall, I'm always rushing over to help them get up, even though they are big enough and old enough now to get up on their own. I also help others that have fallen also, cause you just never know if they hurt themselves in some manner or they just can't get up on their own. It was how I was raised to always be courteous to those around me and aid when help is needed.
