falling - a child falling
I think it really depends on the fall. There are times when I do help my kids get up. Then there are times when I don't. I give them a second to see if they need my help before I help them.

Yes i agree with you .if the fall is of a major one you should take care of your kid.by the way who is falling out there on the pic.

I would help him up but only after I paused. I wouldn't want to pull someone to his feet if he was seriously injured before checking the damage. If someone can move and bend of their own accord, they are less likely to be gravely hurt, so I always observe for a second or tow to see how they are moving on their own before I try to get them moving further.

tanx for the comment what i want to convey is the attitude of the parent that his child should be self reliant so later in his life he knows how to stand up on his feet.ofcourse if it is a serious injury we should take care the child.

Well when my kids fall, I'm always rushing over to help them get up, even though they are big enough and old enough now to get up on their own. I also help others that have fallen also, cause you just never know if they hurt themselves in some manner or they just can't get up on their own. It was how I was raised to always be courteous to those around me and aid when help is needed.

I would help him get up, just as I hope that he would help me get up when I fall when he's older and bigger! I would also help anyone else get up if they fell, it's just common courtesy!

Well as far as i am concerned i think i would go the other way and i appreciate courageous father let the child be in his own foot or be self reliant.let him grow his habbit of self reliance.
