Not behind the ears!

If you dab perfume on, remember to leave the place behind your ears well alone. This area has it's own secretions and they can stink if they react with perfume. If you don't believe me, run a cotton bud behind your ear after a long day. pooh! I wash behind my ears a couple of times a day to make sure they stay sweet. I hope this one is helpful, it was certainly a surprise to me when I was first told this one!

I never put perfume near my face to be honest. I'm sweet enough haha Did you know that rubbing your finger on the bit behind your ear or the side of you nose helps those suction cup things stay on?

No I didn't know that, you want to send that out as a separate discussion as it is a very useful thing to know. I did used to put perfume behind my ears, with the concept that my hair would waft the perfume, but since I read about the pong I don't do that any more lol.

I get round that by turning my head upside down and spraying perfume into my hair. I do not walk around with my head upside down often tho before you pick me up for that, lol! I'll let you do the suction cups if you like.

I never put perfume behind my ears... I dab it on my pulse points. If I'm using a spray one, then I spray a little on my clothes because it lasts longer, and on the pulse points on my arms and neck. The reason I don't spray behind my ears is because of its reaction with the metal of my earrings. That too can be very dodgy. Have a great day, my friend.

Tell me about it! I have had the itchy ear ring syndrome and is no joke, is it? I only use gold ear rings now, not because I am rich but because they more or less are guaranteed not to give me a problem. It is an excellent point, though, and probably helped a lot of people to avoid this discomfort, so thank you for that, my friend :-)

You're quite welcome... I have problems with allergies to some metals too, especially pewter. That's the reason I carry things in pouches. :) Brightest Blessings come to you, my friend. Hope you're keeping well. xx

I know, if you put perfume on Gissi he would shred the sheets, not just try to keep your share as well lol. You may put your perfume wherever you like, it is just I have been told about the pong behind the ears mixing badly with the perfume, but since you are an Angel you probably magic it into something good anyways lol.

I am sorry. Perfume is probably my greatest pleasure in life, and mostly it is free, I can sniff the flowers. Also I use the vanilla essence from the kitchen store if I am really poor and need to smell good.
