hmmm.. i guess this makes me one of the craziest in regards to studying.. during my school days, i need a lot of distractions when i review or study. i dunno why, but if i study alone and theres a quiet environment, i can't seem to understand anything i'm studying. pretty much the reason why during exam periods, i usually study in front of my computer while playing games, or go for movies, or hangout with friends.. and yeah.. i do that while studying.. i bring my review materials in the most unexpected places.. theres even a time we went to the beach (day before the accounting exams), and i really looked stupid, reviewing my materials along the shoreline, and everyone behind me were playing and shouting and making a hell lotta noise.. and heck! i got one of the highest marks in the exam.. c",)

well, i dunno if you could actually call it a skill.. i guess i'm just used to it.. back in high school, our physics teacher calls it "information overload", that is, if i study in a quiet environment, we tend to assimilate too much information in a few hours of reading. probably because during those days, we we're trained in speed reading. we we're trained to read no less than 50-page books in less than an hour, and assimilate everything in it.. and heck.. they literally mean it coz they give us exams after the reading time lapses.. haha.. i guess all the distractions are necessary just to avoid such overloads.. c",)

I prefer to study at night only since my body has developed such nature. If it is urgent i will study the whole day espthe last day of my engineering exams. hehe But i heard that study at morning is better. It will stay in our brain for a long period of time. I usually sleeps late. So wakeup late.

I study in day only. If there is exam i study up to 1 am only. Not more than that and study early morning 5 am. I mostly study during the day. For most people early morning or late night studies are good but whole night studying is ridiculous. It effects badly our health and achieves no purpose.

I find it hard to study on mornings and afternoons. I can concentrate and absorb more details between 11-3. I always cram before examinations hehe

It depends. Sometimes I hate studying during the day and would rather spend my day time hours doing what I enjoy most, such as fooling around online and I use the nighttime to study. Other times, I'm perfectly happy working during the day, and keeping my night free. It depends on my mood and how tired or motivated I am.

I have a small problem that I can only study or learn anything at the 11th hour I mean I start studying some hours earlier than examination. As most of the exams are held in morning so I study the whole night (as your friends) not actually whole night I get a slepp for 2 hours atleast. As you mentioned that there are less distractions in night so it is obvious that it's easy to study at night as compared by the day. So in short I can concentrate better at night

Hi,federickp! Well,I'm nocturnal,I can study efficiently at night, especially in summer.Oppositely,in the daytime,I'm sleepy and my energy level is too low.My best study time is between 10p.m. to 5a.m. next day morning. When I was a high school student,I always did my math homework at 4a.m.the next morning because I'm not good at math so that I had to do my homework at my best study time.

I am not a morning person at all. I take all my classes online and cannot even think about them till at least 2pm. I function and study better between 2pm and 6pm. It is a little different though if I have to study for a major exam. I will probably study all night and tehn take the final as soon as possible.

For me it isn't really a day and night thing. I just can't study in the morning. Even if I start in the morning, I usually get my momentum around lunch time. Then I can study until after 10, as long as I don't get tired or sleepy. In which case, a cup of coffee is enough to wake me up. As to distractions, I can't study with other people, because I feel like talking to them all the time or that I can't study at my own pace and have to go by theirs. So, to get rid of that problem, I try to study alone or with people I don't know well. For other distractions, there's nothing a little music can't fix to block everything else out. They say baroque music is the best for studying :)

During all my school years, I've studied in the morning, so if I had a test for the next day, I had to study during the afternoon and at night So I think both are fine with me, day and night I only can't concentrate if there's much noise around me

Actually study is a matter of attention. You may get good response from you brain if you are attentive whenever you study day or night. Comparetively, Night is silent as well as quite from Day. So it may be easy for someone to concentrate on his/her study at Night. I prefer to study at morning & I think that is most suitable time for study. Sometime I also like to study at night. Morally Time is not factor for study but concentration is essential.

neither day or night .in the morning i think best studying time is to start study at 3.30 am in the morning you will have taken your sleep .so sleep is not going to affect you also itis the time our saints used for meditatiion means at this time more concentration one can get studying with out sleep may lead you into trouble
