During that time of the month, I never fail to get a really bad case of stomach cramps due to PMS, especially on the first day the 'crimson wave' comes crashing in.. Sometimes it gets so bad, I get very nauseous and end up throwing up.. I always take pain killers but I want a natural remedy that can ease the pain.. Does this happen to any of you ladies? If so, what do you do to prevent it? Help needed before that time again next month!

My friends daughther has the same problem as yours. She has gone through all kinds of treatment and prescription ,but none of them works.Eventualy she went to the natural alternative treatment and the physician adviced her to take multivitamine ,calcium magnesium ,and B-complex.Eventhough the multivitamine has calcium magnesium, but it is not sufficient to replace the loss of calcium during your PMS. Since she had started taking supplemnent her PMS pain was subsided and she has more energy then she was before . Otherwise each time her PMS she won't be able to do anything, sometimes she even has to skip her school class and stay home. I would strongly suggested you try the supplement.Make sure you buy the natural supplement, but not the synthetic one.Sythetic supplement witch is made from several different kinds of chemical to produce vitamine A,B,C and more. The price is way more cheaper then natural supplement. The natural supplement is derived from plants which is the best sources of nutrient that can be able to absorb and utalised in our body. Hope this would help you.Good luck!

hello. just like you, i also have bad cramps on the first day of my period. the painful "crimson waves" really feel so bad that i end up lying on the bed for a few hours or so til the pain goes away. i try to avoid taking pain killers because i dont want to be immune to it but there are times when i really cant endure the pain anymore. i try to prevent it by avoiding acidic drinks such as softdrinks and by not eating unripe mangoes, because acidic food tend to give us cramps.

I guess there are many gurls out there like us... I'm just worried that we will have to bear negative consequences when we grow older.. Thanks for the tip though~!! I didn't know acidic food does that.. :)

I wish I had something to offer you but I am not sure what can help . I know my mohter always suffered from this really bad but I never suffered much from it at all . I find it is getting worse the older I get but never near as bad as what I have heard some discribing it as or anywhere near as bad as the way my mother always was . My best advice would be to take this up with your family doctor and see if there was something you could try that was a natural remedy , sometimes they will be willing to share idea's that they wouldn't normally share if you express that you don't want to be taking medications all the time for pain . Best of luck !!

Evening Primrose Oil is a popular natural remedy. Have you tried taking a warm bath or laying down with a hot water bottle on your stomach? That works for me. If it's really bad for you, I suggest you see a naturopath. I'm sure they could find something for you that suits you. Sometimes my pms is really bad and I just lie all curled up on my bed for hours and sometimes it doesn't bother me at all, it's weird how it works. I have never actually thrown up from pms but i have felt like it. It's a terrible feeling. It's not fair how us women have to go through it, and it happens every month! I hope you find something that helps.

When its that time of month I usually get very conscious of my body. Like on the first day, when I look in the mirror I will be like "uhhhh I'm fat". So I will go start working out. It's weird. But that's how I know that I'm about to "come on." When I was younger I used to get some bad cramps but now sometimes I do and sometimes I feel just tired and annoyed all the time. I get really REALLY cranky too.

When I get my period I get stomach cramps on the first day and some on the second. I just got a new birth control so I only have my period four times a year. I'd definitely recommend it. It's wonderful and probably the best thing to ever happen to me. Now, I rarely get cramps and if I do they are very mild and the period itself only lasts two or three days whereas before it lasted for up to eight days. Midol usually worked pretty well for me when I had those horrid cramps. Good luck!
