Friends on mylot....

When you don't see discussions or responses from your mylot friends do you worry about them?
I've seen where quite a few mylot members have become friends off the site as I have also and when I don't see the usual discussions from them I start to wonder if their having some sort of personal problem in their life. When we start emailing each other we get to know a little about what's going on in our personal lives and when someone is among the missing I can't help but worry.
Do you have mylot friends who you email sometimes and wonder when you don't see their discussions?

Yes I am concerned...what I do is I sometimes check their profile page and check to see when the last time they logged in--but sometimes I'll notice it's been nearly a whole month or so! I'd e-mail them..or at least private message them through here, but if they have't logged in in so long how does one get connected??

yes, just like you, i worry about their long absence. usually, i notice that they are absent after weeks have elapsed. this is so because, we can always be out for a week or more attending to more pressing work to attend to. this happens to me from time to time. so far, since i get into mylot, i had been resting so i have not been through this yet. but when i will commence farm work, i will surely be missing mylot for weeks at times. those who had been gone for months, i have found them at other earning sites already which are known to pay so much more. it just so happens that i had opted to stay on here because, of the comaraderie that we are having.

Unless we have their email address I guess we can't get in touch with them and they may have reasons for that.
As for being on other sites that pay more, from what I've experienced if you spend enough time and energy on mylot you can do very well which is why a lot of us are here.

when i start looking for discussions to make reply with, i usually check my friend's list who among them posted good topics for the day. when i noticed that some of my usual contacts are no longer around creating discussions, i just wonder a little bit where in the world have they been. thoughts like vacationing for awhile, busy with their work or career, perhaps got sick get into my mind. although i do not receive e-mails from them, i just keep on thinking that they're gonna be fine inspite of their absence here in mylot. i know any days from now i will be seeing them again doing great job here in mylot.

Now that summer is here I'm sure we will find a lot of members missing every so often. Who wants to be indoors on nice, sunny days? Not me!

Yes, I do get worried when I do not see a few friends here online.
I begin to wonder what is going on that would keep them from myLot. Not that people don't have a life outside of myLot. But when you get used to someone being here every day...you do tend to worry of suddenly that person is not here.
But the one person that I would worry the most about, I have her phone number.
Although I get scared to call because I do not know when her husband is home or not...it is still reassuring to know that if I get overly worried, I can call her for message her Boo. :) ha ha

Of course we all have a life outside of mylot but like you say we get used to seeing some of the same members' discussions and when their not there I can't help but wonder.

Hello,ctrymuzillvr,I have met some good friends in mylot but i will not be worried if i do not see them posting or replying,most of the members are not working here full time,they are here for interests,i i will consider them as too busy to logon here.I may send them a private message to see how they are going if i have not seen them for long time.

sometimes I do wonder and worry if its been awhile since I last saw them active but I havent messaged them or anything. I just think they got busy with something else and hope to have them back soon.
Sometimes I will be absent from mylot myself for 3 or 4 days because I am just really busy. So I know how it is.

When we spend a few days offline ourselves I guess it's easy to figure that's what's going on with our friends too. Maybe I'm just here to much...lol

I haven't been here on mylot that long. I can't say that I have really been concerned about not seeing someone. I figure they might be on vacation or too busy to make it to mylot. I guess if someone was gone for a couple of weeks I might message them to see if there was something wrong.

I have not e-mailed any of my mylot friends- but yes I do wonder when I don't see any new posts from the friends I correspond with daily- I might send them a message to be sure things are ok- I've noticed that people come and go and get on when they can. I don't worry too much until I don't hear from them in a couple of days- Usually if you are going to be off- you send a discussion that you'll be off for a bit!

I've noticed that some members do start a discussion when their going to be away for a day or whatever. I think that's being a good friend making sure nobody worries about them.

yes, i find myself worrying about them, too. whenever this happens to me, i visit their profile to see if they are still active or how long have they been at rest. until i found out that there are some who have been busy with some other more pressing things while, others have opted to leave mylot for other sites which are seemingly paying more. in all of these cases, i can see no point of blaming them for having taken their preferences. but it is true that we also get worried about them although, they are not known to us personally.

I haven't e-mailed anyone off site but I do have friends here that I've gotten close to. I have a few I need to check on in fact. I haven't seen any discussions from them nor have they responded to my last few discussions. I know everyone has a life apart from mylot and it's easy to get too busy to check in but I'm starting to get worried about the ones I've noticed going missing. I hope it's nothing serious or that it's a good thing keeping them away.

I don't have many friends on MyLot, but I try to check in with people every so often just to see how they're doing. Some of my friends are very active on here, some not so much, so I don't normally worry when I don't hear from someone in a while. x
