Yes, unfortunatelly. My mother has is a diabethic person :-(.

Yeah, me. I have type II daibetes. I discovered I had it about seven years ago. Sometimes it's tricky. You'll think you are doing fine, then you'll go in a tailspin. Other times you think you're fine and you aren't. Take the medicine, do the tests, adjust your diet. They all help. But know that stress (even good stress (like a wedding or new baby) can change everything. So can changes in your medicine or other health problems. But it's really important to work the program, 'cause if you don't you could lose an arm or leg, go blind or have a stroke.

My parents both have diabetes.

My 2 sisters, they have 2 kids ... their 2 kids is diabetes ...

My fraternal grandparents both had diabetes, one of my friends in high school had juvenile diabetes and the wife of my husband's former boss had diabetes. It's a terrible disease with many, many potential complications.

My soon to be mother in law has type two diabetes, as does the lady who I grew up living across the road from. My fiancee's bosses son has type 1 juvenile diabetes, and a few eeks ago we went on a charity fundraising walk to help raise money and awareness for juvenile diabetes... How about yourself?

My step-dad and my grandfather both have diabetes. My grandpa has to take 2 insulin shots every day, and monitor his blood sugar several times a day. It is a manageable disease, but I certainly wouldn't want to have it.
