A common rule among children, but do we rule-makers really follow it? Personally, I don't have that habit of washing my hands unless their really dirty or if the food requires the use of hands. And in my family, we don't have that kind of habit although I remember my mom implementing that rule when we were young.

Yes, I do. And all my family do. I actually feel very uncomfortable if I didn't wash my hands before eating even my hands are not dirty at all. I think that's because I have a habbit of that.

Yes, I tend to. For 21 years I have worked in the pharmacy field, so it is habit to wash my hands constantly. I was always handling medication and relating with the customers, you never know where other peoples hands have been. I try to be very diligent about this, with my son also, but, he is 12 and does not know what soap and water is apparently! Ha! Ha!

Yes, we all in family wash our hands prior to taking food.It must be followed from hyegene point of view. Our hands become disinfected and its good to eat with clean hands rathar than eating with unhyegenic hands where unseen bacteria are rendering harm.

rule-makers should not be rule-breakers.We have to make it no way. If it is good we have to follow it.
