I think I will quit Ebay after 7 years.

It is not e-bays fault people a re getting much harder to trust even with a good rating. I purchased on April 30th a pair of cleats for my son for $2.25 plus shipping of corse. This lady has yet to send them to me and she is playing this cat and mouse game. I stupidly wrote her a check and she doesn't seem to know she cashed it but my bank has a scanned copy of her signature and the check and it posted to my account the day of the first initial email stating my concern if she had even recieved the check and she still hasn't given me strait answer. I wrote her a check and now she wants my paypal to just reimberse me. Is that a little wierd? I told her no! I want the shoes! I've told you 5 times now I need these shoes! Then she writes back and says well tell me what you want me to do! Uggh.

Once the cleats have arrived, make sure that they are ok and you are happy with them. Then you can leave feedback, calmly and factually. Why are you worried about getting a little red dot, if your seller leaves you a negative you can always respond to this and it will simply show that you were in the right.

I recieved the shoes and left her feedback gave a positive since I did receive the shoes and the were what they were. I love the new feature that you can rate them on shipping time, item described and communication. It helped me alot on how to rate her except now she hasn't bothered to even leave me feedback.

That is the reason I will only pay with paypal. At least they would get your money back for you. Have you gotten in touch with ebay? Maybe they could help you either get your item or get your money back. I have never had a problem with ebay. We have been dealing with them for quite awhile now.

this was my very first time and it was such a low amount I thought why not and she has good but not perfect feedback. My hubby said it sounded like she was trying to get out of sending me the cleats for a small amount since she offered to refund it via paypal. I wouldn't give her my address I told her to send me the shoes. I will be more careful how I place my bids because I bid on it orignially thinking she accepted paypal but realized she didn't after I won the auction. I guess you live and learn.

Oh dear..that is a bad experience you had..I had one too some months ago. That seller finally sent me the item after repeated emails but not before she accused me of being rude!I was so irritated that I wanted to ask for a refund but she finally sent me the item. After that transaction,I still left her a positive rating but she never rated me!I wrote to ebay to remove my rating for her but they did not help either.I think you should report this seller to ebay. There is a forum where you can directly write or call that seller. They have the seller's address and phone number listed and release the info for disputes only.If you cannot get her to talk to you,I think you should report her to ebay directly saying that item is not posted despite the repeated emails.also keep a link of all your emails to her which you can show to ebay in case they need it.

Thanks, I have kept all the emails and her few responses. I will never never ever ever do anything other than paypal that is for certain. I only bid on it because this was the only pair I could find in my sons' size at this late in the game. I had a gut instinct not to go forth with it but I didn't want a negative mark since I have not ever had a negative before.

Your right, it is getting harder to trust buyers and sellers on ebay lately. I've been both for over 5 years and know what your talking about. I hope you have opened a dispute on ebay with her because you will get the cleats in the end and hopefully her ebay account will be terminated. Did you check her feedback before you purchased from her?

yes she has pretty good feedback 99.8 % out of over 1100 some odd transactions. She finally sent me an e-mail today saying she sent the shoes. She said she founf the deposit slip where It might have been my check for the amount. Hello?! I had been asking her all along. Thank goodness I kept all the e-mails I've sent and the few she has replied to.
