Sports or Excercise - What is your fitness mantra?

What do you prefer to keep healthy - Play sports or do Excercise? I prefer playing sports like squash or badminton to keep myself healthy. Also if possible I like to take a dip in the pool as well. So what is your fitness mantra? Cheers! Ram

Hello ram_cv, For my fitness mantra I prefer both playing sports and doing exercises. I like to play basketball and badminton during the weekends. On weekdays I exercise by doing briskwalking for about 30-45 minutes everyday to keep myself healthy. It feels good to keep your body in shape and fit so as much as possible I spend time everyday for my daily walks. :-)

Both Basketball and Badminton are really great games for fitness. I prefer Badminton to Basketball simply because all you need is two people play it!! Cheers! Ram

i used to dance for exercise. i join the groups in gyms who do the taebo or any dance exercise. but since i don't have enough time to travel these days, i just go for badminton in a nearby hall. it is also my bonding with hubby and his friends.

Sports require company and it is often not easy to find company. I go for walks or jogs. It is free and easy. I just go anytime I want and there is no need for co-ordination. I do it at my own pace, enjoying the sights and scenery as I past by.

You are right most sports require company, but I do tend to play squash alone if no one is around. Also I tend to swin when I am alone, so these two activities really can be done without a person around. Cheers! Ram

Exercise may sometime or most of the time will be boring .it is always sports is for fitness .really fun .you dont feel like that u really are exercising.swimming is also lot fun and healthy .since it is a kind of water cure.lot of blood supply into the inner organs and toxins will be removed fromm our inner organs.i always prfer swimming coz here you can play sports but it is not easy to find a pool.also now a days so much hot it will be better to always in the water rather than outside. but as far as healing through exercise i think nothing can mathch yoga

I am not that much into sports so I am probably the type to go with exercise. But i do like swimming and dancing. So those two are also good ways to keep in shape. Otherwise its gymming for me.
