After a long, hard, and possibly bad day...

What do you do to comfort yourself? People say just lying in bed or listening to some relaxing music will make you feel better, but sometimes that just isn't enough. This especially applies when I've had a bad day--I can't easily forget the things that blew my lid off, and sometimes it goes on for days. What do you usually do to relax and perhaps blow off some steam?

When I'm having a bad day, I usually do lie down and play video games or listen to music. When I feel half-better, I go talk to my boyfriend because he knows me very well and knows how to make me feel better.. I do that unless my bad day was because of him, of course (^v^)y

I can't bring myself to play videogames, or enjoy any of my usual hobbies, when I'm angry. When I want to play I want to enjoy, something I cannot do when there's something bothering me.

I find it helps most to keep busy - go to the gym or find something to work on that will let me get rid of stress or anger. Sometimes I would even come onto a forum like this as venting can help, even if it is just on line getting it out there can make me feel better.

I've heard of going to the gym, but I always think of going to the gym as having to sweat it out and lifting stuff until my muscles ache...but I guess it might be different when you're stressed. I'll definitely try this sometime. =)

during particularly hard days, i usually go home early and when i get home, i just stretch on the sofa and stare at the ceiling. i do this until my breathing becomes normal and then i get up and watch tv or do some light household chores.

I just get home and just collapse somewhere, sometimes fall asleep or if not i just lie there for abit. Though i've i'm annoyed i will find the closest person i can and rant to them about what is annoying me. But yeah I also find it hard somethimes to just relax even after a hard day especially if there is something that has really annoyed me. Sometimes even ranting to people about it doesnt help. If this happens i Usesually just tell the person who has annoyed me. I'm lucky in thatw ay cos i dont have a job so I've never been annoyed by a boss yet. When that happens its gonna kill me :P

if it is a tiering ugly day then i take a nice bath. then i go out door and spend sometime siting alone. if this makes my mood then i continue my regular work if not i watch any good movie i can get from the market if this too doesn't work then i abort all my work and go to sleep.

Ahh yes...a bath would be nice. Especially right now it's freaking warm around here :( I think I'll bathe with ice water tonight.

If I have had a bad day the last thing I want to do is lay down to try to relax because then that leaves me alone with my thoughts and doens't help me relax if my mind is still going 90 miles a minute. To relax I usually grab me something cold to drink and lock myself into my computer room so I won't be bothered which is easy siince i haven't any children yet. And I log online and head to mylot since it relaxes me being here. And being able to slowly relax and release everything that is pent up into my fingers to be typed out and away from me. It always helps me and never fails to relax me.Thank goodness for Mylot and it's great people. It has seen me through a ton of problems.

i usually go out and chill with friends or sometimes find anything useful to do @ my house or play some rugby then when i get tired i just sleep it all day...

Now its the time where a persons quality or character will come into picture. There are so many incidents in human life that are embarrassing and unforgotten-able which makes us days to months to forget the bitterness but not the incident. In such situations we need to have a good judgement quality that we have to be in a lonely place and image the incident apart from that place yourself in all positions of what are the other persons and moods and u try to do the best of their quality when u keep yourself in their place and try to track the incident. For example if a argument like with a group of people, now u place yourself in each of the person and of course u know the quality of the person and attitude on that topic of the person so u try to keep words that are 100% reflects that person Now u have the idea of that person What he thinks about u and so on like this u make an analysis of the incident in all possible directions and find out where the mistake now try to rectify it in further if not possible to fit for that situation or else then explain the thing to all the persons Suppose it happens with the day and situation involving yourself alone then think the other person is God and put the God as Friend to u Analyse situation and keep God as Enemy to U and Analyse then u find out the real thing Of course all these will make you to do the best in further but not that situation ...Where as this make u to learn how to be yourself in all circumstances......... At that time think about your achievements and your memorable events and try to be out of the place for some time enjoy with Ur interests One thing make u relax is If all are Kings who will be the farmer? Also Hero's greatness will be out when there is a Dangerous Villon of course the Villon also gets the fame ..... its all the play of the god.....
