What do you do with a cantankerous mother law. Feed her to the dogs or just ban her from your home? I try to tell mine that she is driving me up the wall but, she doesn't get it.

I had one just like that. Man, was she onry! Every chance she got she dug into me because I didn't do everything right. She didn't get it either until I refused to go to her house anymore. Finally I did get a divorce as he was just like his mother! LOL..I always said that when it was time for her to pass away, she would tell the good Lord that she wasn't ready and he wouldn't fight with her! p.s. after the divroce I ran into her at the grocery store once and she said "I always loved you so much and I really miss you!" Go figure!

I'm sorry you are having issues with your mother in law. I had an ex mother in law that drove me completely insane. I actually had to tell her she was not allowed to come to my home anymore without being invited cause every time she came over all we would do is bicker and fight and it was a big mess!! I'm thankful I'm not married into that family anymore!!

Maybe she is dull. What I did was I banned her from the house but she keeps on visiting our house too if I am not around.

I think all daughter in laws have problems with their mother in laws..I know I sure do. I wonder why we cant just get along! She bothers the crap out of me and I feel like she thinks her son could have found someone better. I do everything for him, will she ever be satisfied?
