My granddaughter has had a gold for I will say 6 months but realy it as been longer and possibly sense she has been born. We have always thought she is going from one cold to another cold. Is it possible that this is allergies?

They say if the nose fluids are clear it's possible that it's an allergy. And dark circles under the eyes also is another clue. This is the best time for allergies, in the spring. My son also had allergies, to the point where he was missing alot of school and we were at the doctors alot. Come to find out when I tore the paneling out of his room there was mold behind it and that was the source of his problems.

It's so tough on everyone. She might have to get tested to see what she has allergies to. Good Luck!

it will be good to try giving the child some fruit juices also. i have heard that prune juice is excellent. grape juice is really great if you can get them natural ones. i wonder if you can introduce melons into the child's diet. it has alkaline based vitamin c. try to make a research on fruits and foods which are rich on alkaline based vitamin c. this will greatly alleviate the child's condition about getting sick easily. you will find out that if anyone is taking plenty of htese kinds of foods and fruits, we get to enjoy better health.

Wow! That sounds quite abnormal to be just the common cold and even if she's just going from one cold to another, that seems kinda long. Has she been seen by a pediatrician? They would be able to give you a proper diagnosis. Yes, it is possible that it is allergies. Or it could be something else. Here is a site that explains a litte about the differences between a common cold and seasonal allergies : http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/common-cold/AN01229

The doctor has said many times it is flue season and now it in the spring they say it is probably seasonal allergies. Time to get serious on finding out the answers I think.
