Thanks for the further explanation of what EID is because I had no idea. No, I do not celebrate it as I am a Christian but understand that it is important for Muslims to celebrate.

eid is like christmas for muslims:p except its based on a lunar calender, so its date is a few days earlier each year (oct 23d this year, may be early october next year, etc.) theres two eids. this one, which is today, is the eid of celebration, after a month of fasting (sort of like lent). the next one is the eid of giving, where you're supposed to donate to help the poor celebrate.

I celebrate it with all of my big family. We going to the mosque together for shalat (pray). It's really monumental moment.
