With the development of science and technology, more and more severe competitions and environmental pollution come to our life. Some people would like to live a uptown life with the fresh air and good mood. If give you a chance to chose, where would you like to live, downtown or uptown? Why? Share your opinions, mylotters? Hi,mexshyl! I prefer to living in downtown.Living in downdown,I can get the advanced education,enjoying a comfortable with Internet,computer,and many other necessary equipment for life.The traffice system in downtown is well-developed.If I want to visit my friend,I can choose different vehicles and routes.

Hello, shinjiao. I'm glad to know your opinion. Really, there are many benefits living in downtown. However, there also exists many problems to our daily life, such as the fierce competition, the severe pollution, the rush-hour in traffic, etc. Personally, I prefer to uptown life. It's peaceful and can easily get fresh air and good mood . Wish you happy at any time. ^_^

Well,actually,this topic is a hot topic in our oral English class and I can understand why you choose to live in uptown.The disadvantages you mentioned above are quite reasonible.

If I have a choice, I would prefer to live uptown. It is more peaceful, away from the busy city life and like you say, fresh air and good mood. I think it is good to go back to basic, dont you think?

my love has always for the kind of life which is close to nature. i am forced by circumstances to live in the city. however, i have managed to keep my environment so natural. we are living in an area where people still plant trees and grow various types of plants. you can still say that we are lucky somehow to have settled in an area which is a good mix of the city life and the uptown life. i know though that this cannot last forever. slowly, the trees are being felled in favor of building buildings.

Hello, trinidadvelasco. I'm pleased to share your opinion. I love to be close to nature, too. Now I live in the city because I'm studying here. And I guess I'll live here in the future. My city is realizing the importance of protecting environment. There are more and more trees planted here than before. The atmosphere is also better now. Yeah, we cannot prevent the foundation of skyscrapers but we can try our best to protect our nature. Don't be too depressed, trinidadvelasco.
