How do you do when you feel depressed?

People have their own ways to deal with depression. I heard someone would like to take a shower when feeling depressed, some go shopping, some listen to music, and so on. what about you? How do you cheer yourself up when feeling depressed?

Hmm first of all i dont get depressed easily. Whatever may be the situation the smile should not go. If iam not in a good mood or iam feeling frustrated the best way is to go and exersixe. Throw al your frustration on weights and it will bring u good results. If not posible then i go for driving. Driving releses stress and can be quite effective in changing the mood. Apart from these having a good chat with a friend or listening to music, also helps. But i would like to mention that there is no point in staying depressed. Its better to be happy and lead a simple life. Cheers, Tutul

Hmm depends actually. But iam driving fast i take adequate care. I have tremendous value for human life. I never want to hurt others. Cheers, Tutul

Try hanging out with your best friend as staying back alone only makes us gloomy. Listening to music is also very good when depressed, actually i am a crazy fan of rock so when i am having a hard time i full blast my speakers with my favorite songs. Try to do something that we really like when we are really depressed.

as such a feeling is always caused by two parts, one is rational part,the other is perceptual part.so i always solve it in follow way: the first step,i will analyse the thing which causes me feel depressed,and find the key point ,then treat it with a correct attitude.that's for rational part. even you know how to treat it,but one cannot control his emotion.so, the second step,i usually do things like palying basketball,running,singing,occasionally drinking and even smoking. in most case, after the two steps,i will feel better. happy posting!

simple, CHOOSE to not feel depress. You are depress because you WANT to feel that way. You have a choice, pick the correct one. I know this sound stupid but it works. When you contemplate the power of CHOICE, its actually works. IF the depression will not go away then you'd have chemical imbalance and the fastest way to remedy this is to take Xanax.
