Off to lay by the pool

I will be off shortly to go get chores done outside. We have a small farm, so it's work for me. Hope you enjoy your day at the pool. Except for the sunburn that is? Sounds like you need a spf 1,000 sunscreen?! LOL

I wish I could say the same . This is the worst crappiest summer we have ever had that I can remember . They keep calling for really nice weather and yet we have only seen one day that was somewhat nice . Even on nice days the wind is so cold that one still have to have out the winter clothing . I was all excited when we had the one nice day and had dug out all the summer clothes and now regret my decision as we haven't had even one nice day since and the little one's want to wear their new outfits for the summer from last year and it is hard to get them to realize they would be sick if I allowed them to wear them . We are still getting frosts in the mornings as it is still so cold out and they still have snow in the mountains about twenty minutes away from me . Now a good start for out summer this year . At least someone will get to enjoy some of it lol .

We have a pool (aka: money pit) at our house. We uncovered and opened it this past week. Had our first cookout memorial day weekend, which was also my daughter's high school graduation weekend. It is Tuesday after now, and I am still reeling from the work and the emotions. (tears,sadness, joy, excitement, anticipation, and every other emotion that can be felt!)Many were burnt to a crisp but thankfully no one drowned on my dime! I am still finding globs of sunscreen on my body. I was most certainly a frightning sight at the pool, I was Casper's twin between the naturally fair, white skin and teh gobs of white sunscreen!

i might be setting up my own pool this week if the heat keeps up.it is disgustingly humid here today. we're somewhere around 85 degrees too.

Actually, I don't mind at all! This is the warmest it's been all week, and I don't think it's gone much above 70 degrees today. After growing up in the Midwest all my life, I am enjoying wearing jeans in May. :)

I wish I was at home laying in my pool also. It is really hot here today. But one good thing is that we are off after today for 3 weeks. Have fun at the pool
