who likes the song 'the scientist'?

hello there nicoleirish. :) yes, i looooooove that song. that is my most favorite song among all the songs of coldplay and just like you, listening to that songmakes me teary eyed and i dont know why. it just makes me feel that way. a nostalgia seems to rip through me. :P lolz. :)

I do! I love Coldplay's songs especially Yellow, The Scientist and Fix You. Chris Martin has a sotthing and calm voice that makes you want to be lulled to sleep! I haven't known that The Scientist was an OST single from a movie. But I'd see if the movie is great as the song. :) The Scientist has a simple tune, which repeats every once in a while but that's the advantage of it since you can follow the song and be able to sing it! Besides, it has an average pitch which makes it easy to sing and reach the notes. I love his falceto too. The way Chris Martin sang it made it a marvelous song! More power to Coldplay!

i never see this movie, but the song is great, its always remind me my last girlfriend. this songs i think is the best song of coldplay.

i liek the song The Scientist so much.. i think cold play generates very good and warm music.. i like speed of sound as well infact thats my favourite song from cold play and the messege is also very good.. i like to play guitar and sing and play the messege too much =)

I adore this song to pieces! Of course I don't think that's saying much, since I'm a huge, (HUGE) Coldplay fan so.. I pretty much adore all their song to pieces! Lol. But I agree, the Scientist is so very special.. it's one of their most beautiful. My personal favorites though are Amsterdam, Sleeping Sun and A Rush of Blood to the Head, though my favs change constantly!

When I first saw the Promotional Video for Coldplay's "The Scientist", I loved already. I already liked the song, but that video is so perfect that makes me love the song even more. It must had been though of shouting, I guess, but the final work was beautiful. Also, this song reminds me of a fight I have with some friends, and after a while I was listening and it really touched my heart, "I tear us apart", "Let's go back to start"... It's one of my favourite songs ever.

It is a nice change of pace as opposed to some of what I have been hearing these days, I like the piano in it the best.

I taste very of this music but prefer "In my place" because he makes me to feel better whenever I listen to the melody, without saying the letter that is pretty

Yes, I practically like any of their songs, but this one is very well-known by everyone. It's pretty nice. Even if sometimes it's hard to me to understand english I can feel what he sings.

Looove Coldplay, and that song is so great! Nevertheless The Scientist is still the best one as far as I am concerned. The Coldplay song chosen is a fairly standard acoustic version of the Scientist. Not terribly different from the album version yet a little more intimate.

I think "The Scientist" is one of the best songs of Coldplay. Probably the best song of the album A Rush of Blood to the Head. Everytime i hear it, it makes me shiver.

It rules! Simple and yet it stays with you. It's like you have that so called "last song syndrome". LOL! I like cold play music, but what really blew my mind was when I saw the video of The Scientist, it looks just like my damn car. I love that car, an E28 BMW 5 series. Thank goodness i don't drive mine backwards. lol!

i love coldpaly..i love how there songs seem melancholic but you still have fun listening to it, singing or humming it. I love their songs, and i definitely love the scientist. i even love its music video. the song has been around for quite some time already, but i have not been tired of it yet...

i like it a lot, i like the melody, the video of the song and the lyrics.

Not my favourite! But it's still good, though Fix You is always an emotional one.
