Phewy, just got through checking my e-mail after being gone a total of nearly three days. I wasn't online for those three days because of computer problems, so was just ticked off in general and didn't want a thing to do with the internet until I got my computer back. Well my temper tantrum got me over 4,000 e-mails. Um YIKES! Just spent five hours sitting on my bum doing nothing more than reading, responding, and just going insane in general. Well needless to say if my computer decides to go through one of it's "I refuse to work" moods again, I will go to the library and go check my mail, so I don't have to go through this again. At this point I don't know if I have a bum left, cause it's numb. Anyone ever sit at the computer so long one or more parts went numb from the lack of movement? If so, how long did you sit at the computer before that happened?

Lol, can I laugh? I don't even know if it is possible to finish the back log of what you have, at the same quality. So good luck. :P You must have many friends on your list. I guess there come a point of "diminishing returns". You have to decide to turn off email notifications for those who you never can find discussions to reply to. Opening, looking through and deleting them is time consuming as it is.

Yeah, I suppose you can laugh, as long as it with me, and not at me..lol :P I have a total of seventy-one friends and each start around two to three discussions daily. With some of them starting more or less also. I try to answer at least one or two from each of my friends, provided they have started a new discussion, or started any that I can add my input to. Now granted there are times where they do start discussions that I don't know what to add further input to, but in general those days are few and far between. But the notifications I get from MyLot on a daily basis really don't even make up half the e-mails that I get. Since the e-mail I use for here is also one linked to my business I get more from that, than I do from here. Plus family and what have you get in contact with me through that e-mail as well. So I got many things coming at me at once. It's time consuming yes, but since I don't get out of the house all that much anyways, it gives me something to do, besides cleaning the house, and if I do that anymore at this point, people are gonna be able to start seeing themselves in all the surfaces..lol

Lol! No if it got to be that many I would definately be turning off some notifications. Although I think it would be interesting to see how many of them I could answer if I had gotten that many from my MyLot friends. Although I think by the end of it I would have gone insane, and probably end up with a tremendous headache from having to think so much.

I've had times I didn't feel like going to the computer, and went through similar situations as you did. As to the bum going numb, well it depends, it can be in a short period of time or longer period of time, I'm not sure what makes it go from a few minutes to a few hours. My hand sometimes goes numb from holding the mouse so long . I know that certain positions will make it better or worse and I try to chance my positions every now and then to help blood circulate better.

Usually when I am on the computer I do move around to make sure blood flow continues to circulate throughout my entire body, but there are still times where I get into what I am doing so much, that before I really realize it, I have sat for hours in one position. So no more temper tantrums for me..lol

Hello, jeweledblurrose, you had 4000 emails in just thre days? Or you mean in total? When I am sitting in front of the computer,i will give me some breaks in bewteen so that my bum will not go numb. Although women' bum may stay longer before going numb,I think it is better to stand up for few mintues and walk around to 'stretch' our bums.:P

4,000 e-mails total. Big Yikes! I wish I had those three days to have stretched it out some, but no wanted to get through them and get my inbox cleaned out and give it a "fresh start" . I know I should have done something during that time, so my bum didn't go numb, but really just wanted to get through it, before I had to sit here even longer to get through those 4,000 e-mails. Such Fun!! I look forward to doing it again...No way!!! I would be insane if I wanted that many e-mails everyday.
