I only carry my driver’s license, my debit cards and my cell phone...this is all I need...
Everything else I keep in my car....if I need it...

I don't lock my car doors...what can others take? Mascara, extra jacket, book, water?...
I don't watch my belongings...if someone takes it, means need it...but so far nobody needed it....:)))
I lock my house doors to protect my pets….all I worry about…everything else belongs to material world and can be easy replaced…

I guess I see someone breaking into my property to take something as a malicious invasion, rather than someone taking something because they need it. I, too, believe that material possessions are replaceable, but I guess I'm lazy. It would be a pain to try and replace something, if I decided I needed to replace it. I like your point of view.

The essentials I carry around with me everywhere are: eyeliner, cover-up, hairbrush, ipod, cellphone, wallet, and hand sanitizer.
It may sound like a lot of stuff, but my handbags are never heavy. The hairbrush & cosmetics are necessary for touch-ups in the bathroom, the hand sanitizer is there because I don't like public bathroom soap (and my hand sanitizer smells so good, it freshens up the atmosphere with its fragrance), and the rest are pretty obvious. Women probably carry so many things with them because most of them are concerned with their appearance and find it necessary to 'touch-up' when going out (whether or not a date). At least, that's how I feel.

what i carry in my bag now are what i consider my essentials: wallet, keys,coin purse,notebook,ballpen,cellphone,lip gloss, hair brush,company id and proximity lastly the current book i'm reading:P with all these things, i really prefer bigger bags over the small ones that can't even contain my wallet. LOL!
