What do you think will be the next computer feature in 2017?

By 2017 i think we'll have these monitors from the movies (minority report if i remember well), where they design your desktop in air. They'll act exactly as in the movie. I've seen it already invented, it just needs to come on the market, and hopefully it'll be cheap by 2017.

I think the next feature in computer will be that computers turn in virtual reality, and I agree with all here maybe there is another way to type, perhaps using us mind and I think the personal computer will turn in a small mobile device maybe inside of us brain and the devices of storage would help us to remember all using the like a second hard disk for the brain. I think another thing will be the artificial intelligence with computer capable that think for themselves and help to the human with the work.

Hi All, The next generation of computers are expected to be knowledge processors. The user will wear a helmet like device and the computer will literally read the mind. What the users thinks will translate on the screen, e.g. writing an email. No more typing, just thinking. Ofcourse people will have to learn to think in a certain way like we all learn typing. But this opens the possibility of computers now only bound by users speed of thought. The application is limitless. Just THINK ABOUT IT. On the monitor side of things. 3D monitors are almost here. The TV or Monitor will create images in 3d is thin air. Some scientists have already made a prototype and testing its viability for mass production. The FUTURE IS IN THE AIR. Regards Ash
