I just found this site and am looking around but I don't quite understand. What do you do to get paid? Is it like mylot or do you only get paid to write articles? Can you reply to articles? Do you get paid to refer people?

The nice thing about Helium is that if you have articles there, they can continue earning you money indefinitely. I have one article there that has earned me close to $5 already, and is my highest earning article thus far. You may make less money on your articles at first, but the fact that they keep earning you money makes them valuable. You do get paid a small amount of money when you refer someone and they write articles. I've only had one referral, and she hasn't written much, but it's a few cents for me.

What was the topic of your article that has been making so much money? Just curious.

I joined this site more than a month back. So far I have posted about 50 articles. People read those articles and you get some money. One mostly gets 1 cent of payment per reading. It is much better than myLot in the sense that your articles will constantly get paid over a long period of time. Whosoever reads your articles you get paid 1 or 2 cents. I have made 90 cents so far. I constantly add articles. This is good to build long term income. If I post 2000 - 3000 articles over the next year, I may get up to $100 a month. The difference between myLot and Helium is that while at myLot you get one time payment, at Helium you constantly get paid. I have written a detailed post in my blog on Helium. If you are interested you can read it here: http://www.IWant2MakeMoney.blogspot.com

I disagree. On Mylot, it is much quicker and easier to earn money by posting. I have been writing for Helium for months, have had my article on the front page twice, have written about 70 articles, won the $5 prizes on the contest, and STILL NOT MADE PAYOUT TO DATE. I have already cashed out on MyLot twice with a lot less effort and more fun. I still write at Helium, but I look at it as a writing exercise, not a good way to make money.

You can make a little money with Helium; however, to make money with them you must write articles. You earn money based on how many page views your articles get. I am not sure what the actual pay scale is - they don't tell us. I do know that you can help your income by also rating articles that were wrote by others; this is because when you rate other's articles, yours also get rated and can rise in ranking. The top 5 articles in any category get more page views than they lower ranked articles do. You can't actually "respond" to an article like you can a post on Helium. Each article must be wrote as a free standing article about the chosen topic. You can also earn a little more by referring others to the site. You earn a percentage of their earnings - it does not take away from their earnings, though; you simply get an additional income based on their earnings. Hope this helps.

I write a lot in Helium. To get extra money in Helium, you must write an articles or participate in contest. By win a contest in Helium, you got money more fast. No you can not reply to articles. Articles that you wrote will be rank which one is the best articles, by doing RATE. Try it. It is also nice to promote your articles. A lot of topics in thre.
