help with downloading?

Well I have been trying to download games primarily from p2p sites, but not having muchn like the games have been corrupted or dont work. What p2p sites would you recommend?

thank you, but i have heard that limewire is very insecure. Is this true? If so, what are its weaknesses? Is it viruses and trojans, or is it something worse? Thank you.

as with any p2p site you have to check everything. I just scan everything i dl and i have hyad no problems so far blessed be

I wouldn't recommend P2P at all. Use newsgroups instead and torrents if you absolutely have to. Stay away from P2P, way to much virus going around.

sorry I actually use isohunt.com, but I thought that was p2p? I dont know :S

If your going to use a torrent you need a program that opens a torrent. I would highly recomment utorrent. It is an extremely small but fast program that you use to download torrents. You also have to make sure you configure your settings right and open any ports if you are using a router. This can up your speeds into the 100's of kb/s. uTorrent also has a search bar that opens a browser when you search for torrent files. Just go to http://www.utorrent.com to check it out.
