How much you agree that life is a race and desire(s) is (are) goals?

When I see the present day life of mine and that of others, it looks life is like a race and all our materialistic desires have become goal of our life.

I agree with your views. Most humans are influenced by mass attrractions through tv, and other multimedia and they all wanted to have a drastic change in their lives and hence desires keep increasing and to achieve desires, they are in the race.

It does not have to be this way. It is a choice that people make. Some people have a lot of discipline... knows exactly what they want... set some goals... and devote their life in achieving them. Some other don't set any goals and choose to go with the flow. I am still not sure who got it right... because both groups can be happy or unhappy. It pretty much depends on achieving a balance between the two.

I do agree with you too,my friend. As for me,i have just changed myself from a student to a worker,so do my desires, and then my life goal is changed too.
