'I always like to eat slowly,I do not like to rush, when I am eating out with my friends,I am always the last one to finish. When I am at home,i will even be slower,I usually take 30 mintues or so for dinner.I may always sitting in front of the computer or watching television when I am eating.I do not like to eat food which is too hot to consume. I will wait for some time to let the food cool down a bit. Recently I am in love with pizzas,I always have it when i feel i do not want to cook that day. I have seen some of the people in the restuarant who gorged with the food and finished within 5 mintues,it is definitely not good for health. How about you? Are you concentrate on eating when you are having meals? Or are you doing something else at the same time, like talking with others,or watching TV,etc? How long do you usually finish your meal? Have you ever rushed your meals and why? I had ever tried to rush but stomach felt sick after that and i lost my appetite the next day. Will you eat the food just after finished cooking or will you wait to let it cool down a bit? Some people like to drink extremly hot soup which i can see the steam from the soup, for me,i will let the soup cool down first. What is your favourite food which you will always prepare at home for your meals? May be I can learn something from you guys so that i do not need to have pizzas all the time:P Do shares your thoughts:)

I am one that likes to take her time eating. I like to enjoy my food and be able to actually taste it. Which when one is in a hurry to eat, I really don't think they actually get to taste their food. Usually with me I'll take a bite, chew it, than wait 5 to 10 minutes before taking another bite of my food. I too am also the last one to get through with my food whenever eating out or at home. Sometimes I don't even finish my food, because eating slower helps a person feel full faster. It takes a full 10 minutes or more for the stomach to tell the brain that it is full. So if people eat fast it gives them a chance to eat way to much, and when the stomach does catch up to the brain, they usually end up with a belly ache, because they ate way to0 much, too fast.

I will always try to taste the food before i swallow it.It is never a good thing to rush when eating just like what you said,if it has became a habit, people are more vulnerable to digestive system problems, that is why it is important for us to eat slowly.

I only ate fast once, and I learned my lesson afterwards, cause I got a really bad belly ache. I don't feeling ick after eating, so my eating is rather slow. My friends tease me sometimes about it, but they understand that I am just trying to enjoy my food and avoid any tummy upset. Plus it really don't hurt for a person to actually chew their food and savor the taste of it.

When we cook at home,we should eat slowly to taste the food made by ourselves so that we know how to improve next time, when we are eating out,we should even eat slower so that the money spend on the meal will be worth spending, you need to pay the same amount of money no matter you rush or not,so why not enjoy the meal then.

It all depends on my mood, easy. If I'm stressed up, I ate a little only. Sometimes, I tend to skip meals. In times like this, I can finish my meal within 5 minutes for a single and small serving. I don't allow my girls to watch TV while eating. It has become a bad habit for them before that I moved the TV to another place. I seldom cook nowadays. There are only 3 people including me in the house. I normally will buy food at our nearby restaurant. When eating out with friends, I am always the last one to finish. I prefer to talk rather than eat. I also wait for the food to chill out a little before eating.

That's the problem with me, easy. I really can't eat whenever I'm stressed up. The food are tasteless and colorless to me. "sigh"

I would say Im a very fast eater.Ive always have been. I never have any problems with my stomach. You see my stomach is use to the food coming down quickly.LOL I dont like eating real hot soup either. One time I burnt my mouth and it was sore for days. I definetly learned my lesson. When my husband and I are eating I always finish way before him. So he will make fun of me and say my nose is flat.LOL

i believe that all of us have had our share of experience about the throat, mouth and tongue getting sore because of having taken too hot soup too fast. this condition takes time to heal. i can still remember how painful it was. i can never eat warm food for days. it seemed like my mouth and tongue are being exposed to such high heat. good gracious, i never did it again, ever.

Nah, i'm more of a fast eater. I like to get full after I eat something. I got no time to savor the flavor slowly, except for the first bite. I never took a second taste to it. I mostly eat it up without tasting it. It's because I want to feel full in the end.

I always eat my food slowly, no matter what the situation is, or how much time i have to eat. It got to the stage that most of my friends are laughing at me, they call me the slowest eater on earth. But i do not care, cause that is how i enjoy eating, and i know that it is healhier then to eat fast,

I consider myself to be a slow eater. I will usually take atleast a half hour to eat sometimes a whole hour. Sometimes I eat at the dinner table with the children and other times I will eat in front of the television. It depends on what time I get dinner done. One of our favorite meals is pepper steak. Its really easy to do.Brown a steak on both sides, pour in 2 cans of diced tomato, 1 bell pepper sliced, 1 onion sliced, 2 tbsp. garlic diced, salt and black pepper. Let this simmer for one hour. Slice the steak into thin strips and serve over brown rice.

It all depends on how hungry I am as to how fast I will eat my food. It all depends on how much time I have to eat it also. I like to eat my food without the television on but my husband and my daughter like to watch it. I usually finish my meal in about 30 minutes or so. I always wait for the food to cool down before eating it. I like to make tacos and burritos to eat. I also like to fix fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and biscuits.

Yes. I make my own tacos and burritos. First I brown my hamburger and salt it while it is cooking. Then I strain the grease off of thehamburger and return it to the frying pan. Then I add taco sauce, salsa, and a taco powder mix to it as well and stir that up really good. Then I turn it down on low and add refried beans and stir it up with the taco meat. Then I chop up some lettuce, tomato, and green onion and put those in a separate bowl. I then get out the sour creme and taco shells, burrito shells and shredded cheese out of the refrigerator. I take the taco shell and the burrito shell and open them up on a plate and put my lettuce, tomato, green oinion, shredded cheeese and sour creme on it. Then I put the taco mixture on top of that on both the taco and burrito shell and they make a wonderful taco and burrito. You can even add a little more salsa on top of your taco or your burrito too.

I very rarely just sit and enjoy my food - most times I'm eating in front of the computer and just stick stuff in my mouth while doing other things, such as in a few minutes I'm going to pop some leftovers in the microwave and will eat as I'm responding to my friend's discussions.

I eat slow. I like to savor each food, feel each texture let it all blend and work and eating fast would not allow me to do it. Also, as a rule and with very few exceptions, if the food is too hoot we are not able to really taste it so there is no reason to eat like that :) I always let it cool just a bit so I can taste the food. I don't think I have one only favorite food. There are many that I enjoy and that we all enjoy in our home. Too many to list LOL but we tend to love most thing grilled with light salads.

I must admit that I am a fast eater, though not fast as the fastest. I will properly chew and swallow my food, so that digestion would be easy. I don't eat in front of the TV. I always eat at our dining table. But my wife will carry her meal to the living room and watch TV simultaniously. She takes a lot of time to complete her meal. I like food with a moderate temperature. Too hot food will spoil the vocal mucus. However I take coffee and tea hot. My favourite food items are all traditional south Indian. No point in explaining them here since you may not understand. However rice, fish, vegitables, fruits and nuts are my favourites. Thank you easy.

I like to eat slowly, i enjoy it better this way, but I can never do that... :( i am always eating very fast. Five minutes are enough for me to eat, and every day, after i finish my food I am thinking that I have to stop this. i am thinking that this is not healthy, I cannot enjoy my food like this and so on... but I keep doing the same thing. i know it is bad, but I cannot avoid it

Whether I eat fast or slow depends on how much time I have. If I am in a rush, I rush thru my meals. I can finish a meal in 5 minutes or 3 hours and still not finish. I have the habit of doing more than one thing at a time when I am eating. However, I am still able to know what I am eating and able to enjoy my food. It is lucky I am seldom landed into hot soup, but I do drink hot soup. I prefer my soup boiling hot. It feels so good especially having sweat all over the head and body after gulping down the hot soup.

I do eat slow. I have always been the last one to finish my food. When I was a kid, I was always the last one at the table. Now my husband and son say that I take too long to eat. I tell them that I like to enjoy my food. I wonder sometimes if fast eaters even taste their food lol. I like to cook and I try to make something different every night through the week. Have you ever made homemade pizza? That is really good.

You could make mini pizzas. You make them with english muffins. Slice them in two, put on the pizza sauce add the cheese and what ever else you like on your pizza, then put some oregano seasoning on top. Cook in the oven for about 10 minutes. Very easy and good.

This is a Thai cooking and not chinese. You can start with gathering the all your main vegetables to be included : tomatoes 2 (cut edges), half cucumber(take out the seed and cut), pineapples (cut in cube), red bell ( cut edges), onion (sliced thinly), garlic 4 (smashed) and pork (cut it thinly). Two tbsp of vege oil, 1 tbsp granulated sugar, 2 tbsp of Thai fish sauce. Heat up the oil and saute the garlic until brown. Then add in onion and pork, fry it for 2 minutes then pour in the sugar and fish sauce. After that put in all the vegetables and fry for another 3 to 4 minutes. At this point, you should add 1 or 2 tbsp of water. Serve hot. Simply, easy and fast to prepare, isnt it?

No, I have been considered a very slow eater. ha ha Always have been...even when I was little, I remember being the last one at the table every time. ha ha But then, even as an adult, I am always the last to finish. When my partner and I go to a restaurant, I will still be eating when he is already completely finished. He has gotten used to it. One time a person even sat there and counted how many times I chewed each bite and then admitted it to me because he was amazed at how long it took me to eat! ha ha I don't know why some people eat so fast. My son want wolf down a whole bowl of cereal in two minutes!!! ha ha And if I try to eat something while it is still too hot, I am sure to burn the roof of my mouth and not want to eat at all for the next few days. So, I have to wait for it to cool. If I am not wanting to cook...PB&J sandwiches are the best. ha ha Or a salad...but my kids love tomato soup and toasted cheese sandwiches. :)

I find myself eating fast all of the time. Even though I tell myself before every meal "eat slowly', it does no good. I had surgery 4 years ago which requires me to take small bites and eat very slowly, I cannot do it. If I am at someone else's house or out to eat I am fine. Hmmm...wonder why this is?

I always eat my food rather quickly. May be because I am so used to that even when I am not in a hurry, I would finished up my food quickly. Most of the time when I am working, I do not really have time to take a nice slow lunch and therefore, that has affected the way I eat.

That purely depends on the many factors like. 1) What food I eat. If I'm eating the food which i like the most, I will try to eat it very slowly enjoying every bit of it. 2) Where do I eat. If I eat at my home, I will eat slowly. But when I eat at my friends place etc., I will try to eat as fast as possible. 3) With whom I eat. No need to explain this, i guess.

well i am neither too slow in eating nor too fast..during college hours sometimes i have to take food little bit fast....usually i take foods with my family members just chatting with them....often infront of comuter and television or talikng with friends in phone..but its extremely difficult for me to take hot dishes...dishes if given to eat as soon as prepared can cause stomach problems...i like to eat noodles which is very easy to cook.just take 1 cup of hot water where the noodles sud be poured with the masalas.let the water with noodels boil for 5 mins.the noodles is prepared.its healthy and can be prepared very fast....but its suggested neither to be too slow and too fast while eaitng becoz anything extreme is not good.we can easily adopt a middle path..

Instant noodles are easy to make but they are not good for health,it is not good to eat too much instant noodles as they do not have good nutrition.
