What is Your Religion and Why you Choose it?

My religion is Christianity and I have been brought up in this faith. I have a strong belief in Jesus Christ and the almighty God.

Just wanted to add that my loyalty is to God and not a religion! Although I repect that God has a format for us to follow and I honor that!

I have been born in a Hinu family,in India and Hinduism is my natural and inborn religion.The spiritual essence,philosophy and foundation of this religion attracts me most.It has helped me in understanding the 'Self' in oneness with the ultimate reality and to treat people of all religions in equal and inter connected divine perspective.Truth,tolerance,humility,love,respect and compassion to all creations of nature are some of the virtues,it inculcates in one's mind.

I am Pagan because I find great affinity to the earth and the mother...

I do not understand why anyone wants to be part of a religion. People make it sound like being part of a religion what it is all about. I personally don't understand why anyone wants to be part of a religion. I don't know what they get out of ti. Yes I think we should go to church to worship God but forget the title of religion. Pentecostal, Catholic, Baptist, or whatever. I didn't choose my religion, my religion choose me and I accepted. God the one and only true God who created the heavens and the earth chooses all of us. Unfortunetly we all don't accept! I choose him because he choose me first. If he didn't come knocking at my hearts door I doubt very much that I would of went looking for Him. Thank God he cares enough to seek us out!

Look my religion is hindu and i personally like the things present in hindu religion that is the reason why i am hindu and i feel proud to be in hindu religion after all that is most important for me.

I was bor into being a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. Also known as mormon or LDS. When one is 8 they can 'choose' to be baptized. I didn't fully understand that choice when I was younger. But now that I am older, and learning more about my raligion, I am glad to be a part of it. What about you?
