Tell me mylot friends why there is so much marriage downfalls in this day and age,is it that they are not compatible or is it that they are to young to settle down.Do you think that they should live together and find out weather they are suited for each other. It certainly seems there is something wrong some where i would like to know your thoughts on the matter.

I think a lot of it has to do with people thinking that they must get married. It is happening before they really get to know each other. I think people should live together first for awhile and then decide from there if marriage is the right choice. I think communication is another problem. No one seems to be able to communicate with one another anymore.

Marriage fails because people do it for all the wrong reasons. The three L syndrome, I call it. Lust, loot, or looks. People don't marry for love anymore. They do not understand the concept of commitment. They don't know what it means to weather the storms. People are also looking for what they can get from a marriage, instead of what they can give. Oh, he's going to make me whole. He's going to pay all my debt and make my life perfect. If each partner goes into a relationship for what they can give, then each ones needs are met. There is no room for selfish ambition in a marriage. Each one hast to bring something to the table. The three Cees that make a marriage work are caring, communication and compromise. And then there is the big G, God.
