I dont usually wear very short skirts or shorts. And when I wear them, I dont expect anybody to be thinking pretty stupid stuffs on me like harass me in public. Not expected, a guy touched my leg when I was on a bus going home. I was so pissed that the first thing I did was kicked him...then slapped him on his face. People stared at him coz I was cuzzing him and all that. I knew that he was ashamed of himself...I didnt really care about him as long as I already did what I had to do to him. Have you ever been harass, in private or in public? what did you do?

If you"ll leave honey out in open, bees sure will come. Try wearing those clothes of which others don't react in the way you had reaction.

Wow, that's absolutely ridiculous ashar! She has the right to wear whatever she wants with out having to worry about sick losers being going too far.. Good for you Honey for letting him know he was inappropriate in his actions. But the person above is right, in todays society you really need to be careful. The true predators actually get a thrill out of the fight or the reaction of the victim. And no it has nothing to do with BDSM... ~BellRose

That is a ridiculous statement. She has a right to wear whatever she wants without being touched by a stranger.

I'm sure no matter what you wear if a guy wants to touch you he will still do it.

Once such an incident happened with me. I was in the 10th standard, and was on a trip with my family. We were then waiting for a bus in a bus stand. I was walking in the place to pass the time. Suddenly a guy passing by, intentionally brushed against me and did hurt me. I instantly went went after him, caught him by his shirt's collar, and screamed. In the second instance, my father took over, and started kicking and punching him, and didn't show him any mercy. I became slightly embarrased by the incedent, but still didn't care much.

LOL, LOL, LOL, WOW shortie your way off, me I'm a verbal type of guy (hands off) N If I see something I like I'm going after it, now some women may think it harassment, due to my verbal content, but it can also be taken as a compliment. If I were to say from across the room DAMN sweety your fine as hell, what's up with ya, you got a man, well can I holla. Would you take that as a compliment or harassment, even though I didn't grab all on you. That's what I ment when I made my last comment and to be truthfull I like it. N

I've had it happen to me when I was in a bar. I made the guy be embarassed by shouting something and everyone stared at him, it was one of those moments that everyone stopped talking at the same time so everyone heard me call him a disguisting pervert. Kudos to you for standing up to yourself.

Thank God I haven't been publicly harassed but my cousin have. She wasn't even wearing short skirt or shorts but jeans. She was going up an escalator at a mall when a guy grabbed one of the cheeks of her a** then ran. He probably thought she wouldn't run after him but she did and she started calling the attention of the security guards there until the guy got caught. She really wanted to punch him in the face but he begged her and told her that she's a teacher. What a big jerk and to think he was a teacher and setting that kind of bad example! So, my cousin just reported him and handed him over to the guards.

nurhoney i shouldn't say this but as i am a boy i think i must respond to this topic(pls take me as a friend). if you were in my country and any boy or man ever tried to do this with u it might well be the last day for him as he would have surely got nicely from the public. apart from this u would be also blamed of waring such dress which made him to do that. i know it can be quite difficult for u but, sometimes being male is a sin as we get easily attracted by girls and come to this stage of making a fool of our self. at that moment u just wont be able to make out what is wrong and what is right. yesterday only while talking to my friend i suddenly looked back and found my friend's sister passing by. the moment i sow her i found my friend telling to me that she was his sister. i never had bad intension on my had its just that i sow her like a normal human being. sometimes we boys don't mean what we do or commit its just out manhood instinct. we never mean it. but let me make it clear that all boys don't think like i do there are some boys who purposefully do it stay away from this kind of people. God bless.

its not about what i was wearing coz as long as i dont degrade ourselves with our clothes and i feel comfortable in it, then i will wear it. the thing is, its ok for men to look and stare all day at the girl but to touch her and harass her is a different story. hope you get my point. thanks for sharing.

You were probably irresistible, hehehe! well what the guy did to you was unacceptable and good thing you did not just let it go. I admire your courage for slapping him and kicking him, but know that in some cases it is best to just ignore it. The reason for that is for some pople they dont get arouse from touching they get sexually stimulated by the kind of reaction they get from the victim.

Evelynlyp, he means that some people get sexually stimulated when women react to their harassment or something like that...probably the reason would also be that they haven't had s** for a long time :-P. Snipes_castle69, he is just simply a perve...hehehe...thanks for sharing.

I'm just glad he didn't hit you back or worse, as I've often heard happen to women who fight back when me do that with hitting. If that is your own picture that you are using, I'd have to say I'm not even half as cute as you are and I get harassed all the time. And, I don't even wear short skirts or anything else, except when I ride my bike. There have been times where I couldn't leave my home with some guy harassing me. But, by harassing I mean lewd comments, cat-calling, honking horns, or following me. What happened to you was an assault and you should have called the cops.

if he hit me back that time, he would have been clubbered by the other passengers in the bus...that would be a very stupid thing he will do...good thing i dont see any cops when it happened or i would have reported him...thanks for sharing.

Sorry to your bad experience... I'm being a guy, I can say my stand.. I do not do it intentionally to anybody. Avoid wearing such revealing dresses, but you have the freedom to choose what you wear, but understand that guys may turn on (Depends on place and guy) with such dresses sometime, it increase the risk, some guys don't know themselves what they are doing after turning on. Another thing, In a country like India, in some places bushes will be having very rush, people strive to stand inside the bus, minis skirts will be problem at that time any guy or girl passover may unknowingly touch legs. Sometime such dresses make us heat, Indians may feel little bit higher than Filipinos, but let not be a reason for that. Thanks.

I'm just echoing what some of the guys had said regarding this issue. If you wear revealing clothes and sexy outfit and the way you carry them you do in a way contribute to increasing chances of being harassed. Kinda like when a girl wears a hooker outfit yes it does not mean she is a hooker but she is wearing a hooker uniform -- and for some guys that is very confusing. I think it has been mentioned several times, and I agree that if you feel like you can wear whatever you want then know also that some men will do whatever they want if they see you in such outfit. I wonder what your hubby thinks about this when it happened to you -- does he know? With the ex GF's that I had I usually say something when they about to wear sexy and revealing outfit out in public and they are not with me. I did not stop them but I did warn them when they go out in public places like that it's kinda like going to an open market where some people thinks anything goes and they better be prepared to deal with those kinds of people.

its on the taste of the individual to wear clothes so we cant harras any one for this.but we sud not wear any dress that wud provoke others to assault us..but from your reaction it seems u r vary brave..thats good.for my case i always try to wear that our society and culture permits us

Well, doesn't happen to guys as often. Still, i've had it happen.. and I was like.. what.. the hell.. I had a guy call me sweet pea before, and ever so gently touch my shoulder. honestly you see my avatar.. do I look like anyone's sweetpea? lol. Almost feel sorry for the drunk idiot now.. i've often wondered what brick tastes like, maybe I should ask him if I ever see him again.

that's terrible.. i've had similar experiences, whenever i wear something sexy, guys would shout out inappropriate comments that make me feel like the cheapest girl to walk on earth. it's really annoying and i always feel tempted to go tell my guy punch the lights out of 'em no good losers.

Icepop! Here's a new perspective on the whole situation. You know your sexy, your man knows your sexy so why not take the compliments from the public. I mean you know your worth! If your not a cheap girl then why feel like that, don't just think outside the box, rip that fu&*# up, tear it apart. besides one day you'll be old and ugly and you'll start to reminise on those days you used to walk around looking sexy and having random people holla out at you. Get a big head off that, Lok at it as if you know your sexy and the people hollerin at you want you, so your sort of a good girl super stat. I hope your man appericates that!

If a man had ever done that to me i'd have done the same thing, I don't wear short skirts often though so i've never experienced that. I hate it when men sit there and treat you like eye candy when your just going to the grocery store, its like hello i'm not a freaken steak for you to drool over.

Yes I have and I'm a guy! I liked it, but I no what your sayin cuz I have placed women in that same situation. You can't help what people think or how they percive you when you go out in public dressed a certin way! I know you/women should be able to wear what they want when they/you go out but the general public don't know you and if you have a short skirt on showing a lot of skin, folks are going to look at you in a certin way and the incident that you just went through may repeat itself later on down the road, so choose your atire carefully, and check out my site http://ESASINSWEAR.SHIRTCITY.COM LET me know what you think. It;s great summer time aparel to help you look even more sexY.

When girls wear such tempting dresses, it is very normal for us to look at them. Most of the times we think that they wear such kind of dresses to show it. So we feel that we have been given permission to see. But i never behaved touched or grabbed some one, but i used to stare from faroff. And about what u have done, You did it right. One got to resist the temptation in public and not behave such indecently. But if he accidentally touched your leg, you have daone ahell of mistake. Let me be very frank, you cant expect not be tpuched ina crowded public bus, exposing your body
