I have qualified for payout in mylot. I have a paypal account. But it is not verified. I am from India. I came to know that pay pal will release money from accounts belonging to Indians, only if there is a balance of $150 at credit. Please advise me on the following. Is it essential to veryfy my paypal account? Is it essential to have a credit card to verify paypal account? Is it true that paypal will release to Indians, only after accumulating $150? Is there any alternate way to get money from paypal before accumulating $150? Is it safe to retain my money in paypal till I accumulate $150? I will be much obliged to those who clarify the above querries. Thank you.

if you had a friend in the u.s. you could send them the money to their paypal account and then have them withdraw and wire it or transfer to an India bank, althouhg the charges for such a transaction may not be worth it untill you have accumulated several hundred dollars.... check the paypal faq and terms as well, there may be an easier way to get the money.

You really need to contact paypal with your questions regarding how paypal works for India. I live in the USA and I use paypal all the time. My money has always been safe. When it reaches a certain amount I have it transferred to my bank account, but otherwise I just leave it in paypal so I can pay for ebay items and such. I know that you don't get any type of buyer protection unless you are confirmed with paypal. Just use your credit card to get verified or confirmed. You should be able to get verified with your bank account. Try that route and if it doesn't work, then contact paypal to see what you can do.

I have not heard of these rules that Paypal has for India. But I do know if you contact them & actually tell them...don't ask...tell them what you want and how you want to do things they usually will do it your way.I have worn them down quite a few times.Hey it is your money!Go for it, it should be the way you want it!

hi, I had the same problem here in south africa, where they didn't want to accept my banks information and use it as verification. there is ofcourse the option of debit cards which I used for a while but started charging really big fees. If you do however have a bank like Virging Money they should accept that. I got myself a Virgin Money account and Paypal accepted that and vuala a verifed account. Hope this helps.

Congratulations! It is not essential to verify you account when your money involved is of the order of $10 or $15. Verification enhances the flexibility of the PayPal account operation in that, the limit for transactions is increased. It would not affect your case. Verification can be done with a debit card also. In some cases I have heard that verification was done by giving bank details, directly. It is true that PayPal would issue a check to Indian Account holder only if the amount is $150 or more. There is a way to receive money to India even if you have less than $150. Get the money from PayPal to India through Zoom.com (log in to the site and learn the rest.) It may be safe to retain the money in PayPal until it accumulates to $150. PayPal is promoted by Yahoo, so no worry on that account.

Its xoom.com. you dont have to wait for your account to reach certain amount before trasfering to your bank account. You can withdraw any amount of money through xoom though I think the service fees are more.

until and unless you have your paypal verified you can't take your money back though you have $150 in your account. One thing you can do is add your credit card in mylot and make your mylot is a verified account. Otherwise you can take my service. If you will take my service i will send the money to your home address as a cheque from Punjab national bank within 3-4 working days . For more details add me as your friend then we can discuss about that

You can verify an account by linking it to your savings or checking account at your bank. You can get answers to many of your question on the paypal site.

although i am not an indian, i should say that it will be safe for you to keep your money at paypal until you have reached $150. but there is a second option for you. you can keep your money with mylot until the time when your money reaches $150 before having it credited or transferred to paypal.

Why don't you exchange your paypal with e-gold. Try to find some exchanger or a friend, who has enough e-gold, and needs paypal. Exchange with such a person, and then you can get your e-gold to your bank account with the help of any local exchanger like exchangeg.com. Try it.

I am not from India myself so cannot answer all of your questions. You do need a credit card to verify your paypal account. Verfing your account has many good reasons such as you can accet and transfer unlimited amounts of money in your account. If your account is not verified, you can only send a maximum amount ($2500) as far as i remember, then you must verify your account. Paypal is very safe. I have never heard of any major things happening with paypal accounts. You can also use e-gold to get your payments from myLot.

Hi,abroji, I am living in Kolkata. I opened a paypal account. They want to get verified my account and asked me insert my debit card number. I did but a notice came from paypal that my debit card is partially correct. Subsequently I used another reputed foreign bank credit card, but reply came that you did not hold any account there. My credit card is Master Card OF FOREIGN BANK, I do not know what is going wrong. I contact both banks, banks said they should accept your credit card. I am thinking of making payment of USD 1.00 to paypal through debit card so that they will get the link between my bank and paypal. I told the bank concerned about my action. They agreed.

Keeping money on paypal balance is definitely safe thing to do. I am using paypal for three years already, never had a singleproblem. About 150 dollars minimum, yeah i think it's true you need to have 150 dollars for indians and probably forsome other people. I amin U.S and i remember i was able to withdraw as low as $1.58 to my bank account. You need to have bank account in order to recieve money there, otherwise what you goinf]g to do with those money that are in your balance there? Is it hard to apply for credit card in India? Well, i hope you'll do fine, because i know how is this while you work and not getting what you have honestly earned. I hope this answered some ofyour questions. Good luck.

I WOULD get your paypal account verified, There is nothing wrong with keeping you money in your paypal account, I do it myself and am earning extra by doing so. You do not need to put in a credit card, but to get verified you need to have a bank account of some sort so sometimes a credit card can be enough...but get a separate bank account, that is what I did, it is easy to do, and can be done easily even if you only put a few dollars into it, that way you can use that to verify your paypal accoutn and not worry about security of the bank account you use for your own finances.

write to paypal and they will help you with those questions, yes it is safe to keep your money in paypal. I have a verified account and I don't have a credit card, I am in canada. To verify an account that send you a letter at your address with a special code, once you get the code you write it in at paypal and your account is verified, you can ask them if they will do that with indians too. and ask them if you can get your money out before 150 as well.

I am from India. I think paypal lets you withdraw money only after it reaches 150$. You can try zoom. A lot of people have recommended it. Personally I am going to spend my money on mylot on ebay. I have bought stuff on ebay. I dont have a verified paypal account or entered any credit card on ebay. You will find it difficult to find people accepting paypal in ebay india. And the cost of buying stuff from the rest of the world will include huge shipping charges. But if you are willing on these fronts this option is much safer than all others. I don't know about the legality of the paypal checks and zoom services in India. So please check these ares before you draw money from paypal. Regards
