Shrimping...

My hubby is out on the shrimp boat and will be gone for 10 days... I'm worried about him, and I don't know what to do to keep my mind off of him. He just called me a while ago and said they almost sunk, but don't worry, they've got it under control now. That made me worry even more. :( Plus now he's out of service range, so I can't call and check in on him to make sure he's ok! I'm going to go crazy! Anybody else's husband's go shrimping? What do you do with your time to keep your mind off worrying about him?

He calls you to tell you that they almost sunk and expects you not to worry?! Is he crazy? lol Has he been doing this for awhile? If so, you should realize that he's a pro at it and he knows what he's doing. He'll be alright. Just keep him in your prayers and reassure yourself that he knows what he's doing and will be alright. That's a dangerous job but he knows the risks and will do everything it takes to come home to you. Just keep yourself busy and everything will be fine. Believe me, I do know how you feel. That's exactly how I felt when my husband was in Iraq. You just gotta keep yourself busy and get on with life or you'll drive yourself crazy.

lol, yep! My hubby's been shrimping his whole life, so I really shouldn't worry. But whenever he's gone, I just have to stay as busy as possible.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just have to ask a question. How many different things can you really make with shrimp? lol Sorry I just had to ask. I miss Forrest and Lt. Dan!

I hope everything goes ok.. Are you still working? I would just throw myself into that or a good book.. or jazzlyn.. or have you ever scrapbooked.. that's a lot of fun too. Anywhoo.. Does he know how to swim... J/K.. hope everything is ok.. Email us if you need anything.. or if you get too bored..

lol, yeah, I'm still workin my butt off. Now i got one of my best friends living with me too, so things are looking better! And I hope he knows how to swim! lol! Our anniversary is Sunday! :)
