Have you had your 15 minutes of fame?

Andy Warhol back in 1968 said "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes." Then changed that statement in 1979 from "world-famous" to just "famous". I guess I've had mine. I've been on TV and in newspaper articles and been on stage as a musician since I was a kid and I currently sing with a local rock band. Now don't get me wrong, I've only been asked for my autograph a couple of times and a couple people have recognized me at the grocery store but the paparazzi don't follow me around and Barbara Walters isn't knocking on my door for an interview! LOL So have you had your 15 minutes of fame yet?

I don't think I had so much lol, maybe 3 minutes or something like that. When I was smaller and would enter singing competitions and once that I did the belly dance for the school only to have a lot of brats have a crush on me d:

A belly dance! That is something you'll be remembered for, for more than 15 minutes! The brats agree with me.. ;)

I felt like a pedophile that day, most of the kids there were way young ): then a lot of them got crushes on me, grrr, I was young and they were way too young lol. It was quite a wile back, I might have been 16 or so.

Sort of! I guess. That would be my answer. I have never had the kind of fame where people are stalking me in the streets or begging for an autograph. But I'm fairly well known online. I guess that will be the extent of my fame, unless I ever get my books written and published. I suppose that would be another kind of more subtle fame.
