At what point do you not respond to a discussion, when there is 10 responses, 20,30,50, or 100? Do you still respond no matter what number of responses have been made?

I tend to keep responding to discussions whilst there is still something else to say, which could mean that discussions can be very lengthy or sometimes short.

most times it's the discussion rather then the number for me. Some discussions die with a couple of responses, some seem to grow to a 100 or more. I just wonder if a discussion has too many posts, does my post actually get read?

It seems that some start a discussion and this breaks into sub-discussions with respondents to the posts "chatting" amongst themselves. I haven't yet had that experience, because not many seem to read my posts, which tend to be either perhaps over-philosophical or of every day matters of photographs I have taken. I seem to spend a lot of time answering other discussions, then maybe I get an idea or want break from my subject and open a disucussion on the first thing that comes to mind.

I don't really understand your question. If you talk responses can be in one discussion the answer there are no limitations. If you talk about how much posts can you make the answer again is no limitations.

what I'm asking is when you read a discussion, if the discussion already has a lot of responses, do you still respond.

i always respond to a discussion no matter how many responses it already has if i like the topic. but if the discussion doesn't appeal to me that much, i don't reply to it if it already has something like 50 or more responses. i have this notion that responses over 50 are not already being read by the thread starter.

well i doesn't matter to how many responses there is. what matter most to me is i do understand the topic and have a good discussion to have for that matter. and i do believe it would deal a good interest to me if ever a topic starter have a 100 responses for he have a good topic to be discuss

no there is no such maximum number of responses here in mylot you can post as much as you want the only thing matters is that the posts must be of high quality then only you will be paid otherwise not. so try to post good quality post that is most important issue here in mylot.

Yes, i respond to a discussion if i have a say on that topic. I do not see the number of responses that are already there or for that matter i also dont see whether the starter of the discussion has marked a best response or not. I just go on responding to any discussion that i feel like responding to.

Hi brothertuck. It all depends on the discussion. Well when there is only few responses I comment. But if there are too many I stop commenting. But sometimes I don't answer if it is just an information that I am giving. Most of the time people just say thanks and there is nothing to answer. Now when somebody asks a question in their response then no matter how many have already answered I would respond.
