Does anyone know of anyone who has a lemur as a pet? Are they a common pet in the country that they come from? I met one at the zoo once and I thought it was just the sweetest thing I had ever seen, I put my hand right in the cage (which I realize now I wasn't supposed to do but whatever) and it held my finger with its tiny little hand and let me pet it and I've wanted one ever since. I think it would be just like have a fazzy baby that never grew up. I have looked up as much as I could find on the internet and so far I've read that they do make good pets but are very expensive and require a license. I would love to hear from anyone who is lucky enough to have or work with one of thees adorable animals.

No I have never seen that movie. Our pet shops in this are are not very good and are really over priced, a puppy can be as much as $2000 and they don't carry any exotic animals like monkeys or lemurs. Everything I bring it up my husband tried to tell me that they throw thier poo when they get mad but I'm pretty sure that's just monkeys.
