All of the above - I pray anytime day or night, doing different things, in different ways. I think my most common prayers are when I just off the top of my head start talking to God as if He were a friend standing next to me. 'Ok God what should I do now?' He is with me always so I figure there is no reason not to talk to Him whenever I feel the need. I pray for myself, friends, family, even people such as many here on myLot.

OH no. Sometimes I do particularly if I have something very heavy on my heart. Sometimes at church after service I'll go up to the alter and knell down to pray, often one or more of the pastors (we have 13 on staff plus dozens of retired pastors in the church) will come over and knell and pray with me (or anyone who does the same). I've even had different members of the church who are friends and may or may not know what my prayers are about come and just knell next to me. I know even if they don't know what I am praying about they are praying for me and my prayers. I also pray while driving though - I certainly don't knell down or close my eyes then but know God still hears my prayers.

i pray everyday. i pray whenever i feel like talking to God. my definite schedule for praying is when i wake up in the morning, before i go to bed and before i eat... and some spur of the moment when i am alone and i want to tell something to him. i usually pray with my eyes close. i can concentrate more and i feel him closer to me. i pray silently when i am alone but i pray out loud when i am with other people. most of the time, i pray for my family, my friends, people around me, people who needs special prayers for their petitions. the last person i pray for is myself. i usually pray for good health, enough blessings, and for my ultimate prayer wish is to have our own baby.

Prayer is a very personal thing. I belive that we should keep a prayer in our minds at all times. We do pray alot. We pray at both morning and night as well as blessing of the food that we eat. We also pray when we need guidance from Heavenly Father. I think that prayer is a personal thing between only the person praying and The Lord.

I usually pray before I go to sleep. I do not go on my knees. I just look up and start talking to God as if he was right there with me in my room. Other times, I pray in church when someone is getting prayed over or if something is wrong with somebody and they need to be prayed for. I pray for everyone that I know. I don't say their names but just in general. I know that God knows who I am speaking about when I pray. In my prayers, I usually give thanks to him for giving me another day to serve him. Then I ask for forgiveness for the things that I might've said, done, or thought of. And then I usually ask for blessing upon everyone that I know especially my family.

I pray by heart. I pray wholeheartedly. God knows who pray seriously. I always pray for my family, loved ones, friends, co-workers, and even my country and the leader of our country. Sometimes I pray for my friends abroad to guide them. I pray everwhere and even my eyes open because God knows who pray with a sincere heart, sometimes you just dont need to shou or cry because He is a listening God.

I listen to Christian music all day at work, so I am thinking about God a lot. I listen to the same while I sleep so good "messages" are going into my head as I sleep. If I get up during the night, I might pray on the way to the bathroom. I usually pray when I lie down. I usually pray on the way to work. Sometimes it is thank you for my sleep and a new day and the opportunity to grow and to learn and to do. Sometimes it is praise and thanks for His presence in my life. Sometimes it is asking for protection for all members of my family. Sometimes it is asking for conversion or His touch on those in my family who are not close to the Lord. I pray for help to get through my work day and after work, I pray thank you for helping me get through the stress. I ask for help when I'm having trouble walking. I thank Him for my health and the strength I do have in my knees and legs. I try to pray whenever I think about it. And I often pray for Him to continue to help me and to continue to draw me closer and to never forsake me. I sometimes pray thank you for the opportunity to talk to the Creator and the knowledge that He listens to me. I try to pray more and more every day. And I ask forgiveness when I don't.

Oh, don't be impressed. I'm like everyone else. Some days I do better than on other days. I just feel it is important to try to keep close to God and learn to be more dependent on Him. The way we get to know Him is through prayer and learning about Him from reading the Bible or good bible-based help books. I get a lot of help from listening to Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen. And the only reason I've made any progress at all, is because of His incredible mercy and grace.

I pray every morning asking my Higer Powers guidance to keep me sober. Then at night I also pray thanking him for keeping me sober another 24 hours. I pray whever I am when I think of prayijng. Be it in the tub, the car, or in bed. I just pray and that's it. Most days I have someone in my mind that needs a little help so I pray asking him for help along those lines also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I 'll say a short prayer before every meal silently. In the evening, we make it a point to pray together with our two kids as a family. We pray for each other and for our friends, etc

I always try to pray at night. I just pray sitting down with my eyes closed. I don't pray out loud, I just think and say thanks for all the blessings that I've received. Then, if I have a special petition, I'll also mention that too.

When I pray, I isolate myself. I want to be alone so I could feel His presence. all the things that you've mentioned are there in my prayers.my prayer is divided into three parts: 1) Thanking God for all the activities and the people I met; 2) Then I ask forgiveness for all my sins 3) lastly, I asked His help, guidance and protection to me and my love ones..

I must say that I do pray and I try to do it on a regular basis. I think that praying and doing anything positive is good for the mind, soul, body and spirit. I don't know about others but I always feel much better after I pray. I pray at anytime of the day or night and I will pray anywhere. I usually do not pray out loud unless in in church. To me it's a private thing.

My 3 year old knows how to say grace so I guess we pray more than I think. I pray sometimes throughout the day. I don't think you neccessarily need to kneel for your prayers to be heard. We give thanks for everything we have and for each other. We pray for health and strength and for family, friends and those we don't know who need prayers. We also say prayer at bedtime most nights.

For me and some others, too, praying is not just reciting words. There are other ways of praying. Being quiet and thinking about God is praying. When we imagine God before us and we feel our love for Him, to me that is also praying. A charitable act is also a prayer. I am convinced God dwells in us and many times, He is the root of our desires or whatever may be causing a lack of peace. Probably, He is stirring you to do something more with your life so His purpose for you will be fulfilled. I heard one priest in his homily say something like this: that praying is not just "talking" but "living".If we love God and are good to our fellowmen and women, then our life is a prayer.
