What do you eat salsa with ?

I LOVE salsa and one of my favorite things to put it on (I hope you are sitting down!) peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches....one of my favorite gross snacks...but I love it!

Salsa is a main part of my diet. I even started to just make my own because I was buying it so often. I have put it on pizza, hot dogs and even baked potatoes. I like mine to be hot but the hubby does not. So I have to make it a little milder for him.

love the stuff, that and pico de gallo. potatoes (baked, boiled or mashed), sauteed zucchini and other summer squash, rice, tacos, burritos, grits(son, not me - I do not eat grits :) ) chips, chili, pizza, fries, soups, biscuits, bagels with cream cheese and salsa, eggs (scrambled or fried) as a pasta topping.... really just about anything but ice cream, eh?

I reserve salsa for seafood; I eat it with cooked calamari, mostly. When there's no tomato sauce available, I'll mix salsa with pasta as well. Strange as it sounds, I like to eat nachos and tortilla chips plain --- that simple salt taste is the best, though I can't remember the last time I ate them.

I don't like salsa, but if I make my cheese dip, I have nacho chips to go with it.

Hi, serenidity. I mainly will eat salsa with tortilla chips. Or any other type of chips that is flavored. I also think that salsa would taste yummy on a salad or cold vegetables too.

salsa sauce for me is great with nacho chips, tortilla, taco, quesadillas and for hotdog sandwich with beef chili.. salsa is great also with bagel then then topped with mozzarella cheese and toast... like pizza. for snacks or breakfast too.

Two of my favorite ways to eat salsa (besides on nachos and with naucho chips of course!) is: 1. to make a breakfast burito. I scramble an egg and put the scrambled egg, 1 slice of bacon, and a lot of salsa into a low-carb tortilla wrap! 2. I love to pour salsa onto dried beans when I eat them. (navy beans, pinto beans, great northern beans etc!) At least one night a week we have a meatless meal and dried beans are our protein of choice!

I have never tried it with anything other then with nachos and the tostillo chips but love the taste of it with this . I love the salsa that is spicy as it really gives it a nice flavor . I have never heard of anyone eating it with different things but now that you have mentioned that you have tried it on a bunch of diffferent foods and really enjoyed it , I believe I will have to try it and see as I like a spicy taste to my food and the salsa I buy is always the spicy .

I enjoy eating very hot salsa with chips, preferably those who have a natural flavor. Thus, all the flavor comes from the hot salsa and the chips just make it more barable.

have you ever tried salsa with pasta instead of spaghetti sauce? my daughters love it!

OK, this might sould a little crazy but I like salsa in my oatmeal! I eat plain rolled oats (I like the Irish oasts the best). They have absouletly no tastes at all. In fact if you were to eat it as prepares it would probably tast much like I imagine wallpaper paste to taste. This is where my favorite salsa comes into play. I like "Salsa Authentica" from Trader Joes. For me it has the perfect balance of spice and flavor. It's a little more liquidy than some other store bought salsa's and I like that too. I just mix a bit into my oatmeal and I have a hot, filling and savory breakfast, I really like it.

I only eat salsa with chips. I've never tried it with anything else.

My husband like salsa ,he loves to eat salsa with tostitos every night after dinner.I like salsa with salad only it's good.
