Were you shocked when pasions soap opera decided to add this story line between Chad and another man? Or, were you happy that Passions is starting to show a little more diversity? Do you find the story line to be realistic or contrived simply for ratings? Were you more upset by the actual story line or by Chad's infidelity? What's your opinion?

I'm not surprised, as nothing surprises me on Passions. The story line could have been well done, but Chad thinking this isn't any big deal is wrong. If I was going to write for a soap opera, then my selection would have been a single man or single women that is not sure of whether they wish to be with a man or woman. We could have explored why the person is unsure of their life style. This could have easily been dragged on and on like Passions stories. This clearly didn't work, as Passions has dropped in the ratings even more. People wonder why NBC will no longer be running the show just look at the poor story lines.

That's news to me. This is the first time I'm hearing of a show cancellation. Will NBC really dump Passions from their daytime line-up?

NBC soap opera Passions, which will end its run on that network on Sept. 7, will be picked up on Sept. 17 on DirecTV, under a new agreement between NBC Universal Television Studio and the satellite television provider. It will continue to be on at 2:00pm and most of the cast will be returning. DirecTV, in conjunction with bringing Passions on board, will offer free installation, a DVR or HD receiver upgrade and a portable DVD player.

I just wish the storylines were not so confusing and it would go a little faster. Do you eve notice that like one day of their time can last almost a month? Ok maybe that is a little exaggrating, but close enough. Ihate missing a show and then watch a few days later to find them doing the same scene just reworded. Like how does Ethan not know he is little Ethans real father when everyone else does? I remember this from like a year ago onlyto watch a couple of days ago and teresa and julian were fighting over it still. It is a good show, but cant they be a little less redundant sometimes?

yeah I love the show and I've been watching it from the the start. I once didn't watch it for 2 months and only like a week had passed on the show.

I thought it was quite tacky. I was disappointed that they made a bad guy out of Chad. I don't care for Vincent either, he is a bad actor. They just did not go together.

Chad's infidelity is so wrong, and they didn't have to show them kissing. I really didn't care to see that.I was upset by those scenes.

I have not been able to watch passsions for years. When it first came out I watched it everyday. But I had to start work and then kids came along, do it fell behind. But Idid watch a quick scene where some guy said to chad 'you are cheating on me with your wife?' I am not sure what to think. Isn't Chad whitneys half brother? And they have a kid, and now she ispregnant with his kid again? It seems to me like they are reaching with this storyline. Isn't whitneys sister a lesbian or something too? It seems it is all inthis one family only. Aren't there other people in this show too? The whole thing upsets me. Whitney should have hooked up Fox from back in the days storyline, and should have just left it at that. This to me is too much. Way over the top.

I've missed lots of recent episodes too. I think Whitney found out that Chad wasn't her brother while they were both in Rome. That's when they decided to reunite to give their baby a real family. And, I would have thought that was the end of the story line. But, you know how that goes. I think the man that Chad is cheating with, is actually Whitney's real half brother (the baby that was stolen from Eve and Julian all those years ago.) That would be some kind of plot twist if it were true. I can't wait to find out!

I wasn't shocked. I'm tired of them carrying it on. They need to let Whitney and Chad be together and be happy, they have already been through enough problems with them finding out they were and then they weren't brother and sister. Simone and Ray is enough they didn't need more than one gay storyline.
