Mothers

I am almost 30 years old and my mom is such a worry wart over everything in my life, not to say that at times I couldn't understand why but I just want her to know that I am ok and not to worry herself so. She has always been there for me right or wrong and is my real true best friend, but there are those times when the mom thing kicks in full effect. I was just wondering how I can help keep her from worrying as much? Does anyone else out there have that special bond with their parents and know what I am talking about. Tell me how you deal with your parents, or don't deal with them.

I know I have a special bond with my parents but somehow we never acknowledge it openly. Sometimes I wish I can just go and talk to them but I feel strange doing it somehow

I have a problem talking with my father, so I understand where you are coming from there. But one day they will be gone and there is nothing I can do about that, talk with your parents no matter how strange it makes you feel. Sometimes I beleive that when we get older they turn into spectors of our life and we usually keep them out of most of the time. Just keep in mind that one day they will be gone and there will be things you will want to talk to them about and you will have missed your chance.
