If you could re-do your degree, what would you do different?

Would you study something else? Would you study more? What would you change? I would probably study something else, like child psychology, or veterinary medicine. How about you?

i would not re-do my degree.i think it would be a waste of time and money to change the degree.also there is the age factor which hinders our studying capability.

Don't limit yourself demo3424. I didn't get my degree until I was 35 and there were a lot of people in my classes older than me. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to college if I had the money and I'm 47.

I only have an Associate's Degree in Business Administration/Management. I've been thinking about going back to school and learning more about computers. I love working with computers and have a knack for it. I would really like to learn a couple of programming languages, more about web design, 3d graphics and animation... so much to learn so little time.

you should totally do it! there is a growing need for those knowledgeable in computers. You will totally be giving yourself security if you pursue a BA or higher. good luck to you!

If i had the oppurtunity to re-do my degree, it would definately be something related to aviation.. First of all the reason being , my father wanted me to become a pilot and secondly, it definately yields good money :)

I did very much enjoy doing my degree in english literature, however the subject itself has done nothing to help me to get a job. The fact that I have a degree has helped, but I sometimes think that doing a subject that was more career orientated it might have helped me, but then like now I have no idea what career I want to be in, so it would have been a hard choice.

I would have skipped the foundation year on mine. I found out the other day that our university filled up all the places on my course too quickly, so they just lumped the people they liked on foundation courses. We didn't actually NEED to do it at all! Now I am in my first year again, and it feels like I am redoing everything, which is a huge waste of time. If my uni wouldn't have taken me on as a fresher straight-away, I would have gone to another uni to do the same course there. I am doing photography, by the way. x

I really like what I'm studying (Technology and Industrial Arts) but I think I would have gone to a larger school so that I could have specialized my degree more. Still, I love my college, the people that I've met, and I'm glad I went there, but if I had known sooner what I wanted to study I probably would have picked a different school.

I have a degree in Criminal Justice but if I had the chance to do it all over again I would probably go with either Forensic Science or something in Veterinary Medicine. Unfortunately, in my Senior year of college they offered the Forensic classes but I wasn't about to change my major at that stage so I ended up completing all by maybe a dozen or some classes needed to get a Forensic's Degree. I could still go and take a few more classes.
