I think a band would be really nice if you had the funds to back it up, and if they had enough material to entertain all night.

I want a dj at my wedding, that way they can play the awesome dance songs mixed in with swing, blues and salsa all of which I do.

depends. bands are okay but they are also very expensive. i had a dj because i would rather hear a song by the person who actually recorded it.

i prefer wedding with band, because they can play good music. and it will suit for wedding.
