Do U use yahoo messenger or google chat?

Hi! I always use yahoo messenger for chating. Actually I was more familier about Yahoo and so I started the chating thru Yahoo first time. Recently when I opened my gmail account then I can see an advertisement often says about google chat. I dont know which one is better but the features are more or less the same in both sites. Do U have any experience of odd thing about any of them? I want to try the google sometime....
