Sudoku these days seem to be taking the place of crossword puzzles of the yesteryears. Being an engineer with a Maths background, I love to solve them whenever I get time. But, I would like to know how many of you out there are Sudoku fans? Cheers! Ram

Oh oh... You beat me to it. I already had a discussion on this topic planned to be posted. lol. Recently, I have been solving sodoku until it is past my bedtime. Even got a book on it. It is just a way to challenge the mind so that it does not become rusty.

Sodoku127 - A difficult one to solve
I started with the easy one, jump to the difficult ones, back to moderate and easy ones if I am stuck. Have a go at this if you may. I have not manage to solve it yet.

I have never really looked into this game until 2 days ago. I am still not good enough at it. For those straightforward ones, ok. But for those of high difficulties, I think you need to first put in some numbers to try right? I find it too troublesome if I have to erase or cancel, etc. :P

If erasing and canceling is your problem, then there are versions of Sudoku available for playing on computers where erasing is not much trouble. Cheers! Ram

I loved Math when I was in school. I love to do crossword puzzles, but I hate these Sudoku puzzles. I am not sure why, but I see them as very confusing and I don't see what people see in them. I know it is a growing trend to see people doing these puzzles everywhere, but I would rather have an old fashioned crossword or word search any day of the week.

I actually think the concept is very simple, you just need to get numbers 1-9 in all directions, that's it. Nothing too much :) Cheers! Ram
