How do you remove underarm stains

A family member called me the other day, and ask if I knew how to remove underarm stains in her tee shirt. I told her try Clorox, and she said it did not work. Any suggestions as to what she can use?

I have heard that lemon juice or vinegar will work. I know they say boiling socks in lemon juice turns them white again. I have never tried this but I have heard positive feedback on it.

I do have some socks that I would love to see white again. I will try it and post the results.
