as a student, everyone's task is to graduate and get a cert but i think that one should work to gain more experience instead. practically.

As a student your responsibility is to study well so that you'll finish studying as soon as possible. after graduating you'll have to find a work which will gain you experience and learn a lot from it.

i m not so agree what you say here... study is important.. by the way... they should take some part time in holiday or weekend to get some extra experience.. but total hour must not more than study hours a week.. becouse my country you get the degree or what ever must not mean you are the best and no experience in working is useless.. the sudent who start working 1st have the beter thinking than other student.. Do you realise that??

practically u said, its a step up process. being a student should deal also with the kind of work that was chosen. that's why there is subject of prcticum and on the job training subject. goodluck!

Right now I know I wouldn't be able to handle going to school and having a job. I think going to school and learning as much as possible before working is important. Also, a lot of people are not ready to start working right out of high school and going to college and studying further gives these people a chance to figure out what they want to do with their lives.

I go to a work-study college, and I think that some of my most valuable experiences have been in my campus jobs because my work is related to my major. Still, while experience is great, the degree actually means more when you're applying for a job. So, if I had to choose between work and study, I would say studying is the more important.
