Boiled tap water or bottled water?

Which one do you consume on a daily basis? In my country, almost everyone boils tap water for drinking even though it's safe to drink from the tap. People usually don't drink bottled water because that's a lot more expensive. I know that in some developed countries, people only drink bottled water even though their tap water is perfectly safe to drink. What about in your country? Which do you prefer and why? Please share your stories. Thanks. :)

The taste of our tap water is gross and disgusting. It gets even worse after it rains. I drink filtered water (Brita) or buy a couple gallons of bottled water. If I am making coffee or tea I will use tap water because it is being boiled or heated so the nasty taste disappears.

Our tap water is safe to drink, but tastes very strongly and is overall not very nice. So we buy cheap bottles of water. We don't see the sense in buying expensive bottles, but cheap is fine.

In my area of the country we do not drink the tap water, it is too dirty. In my family we drink water that is delivered to us by a water company called Kentwood and sometimes we'll drink bottle water.

i neither drink boiled tap water nor drink bottled water.i filter the tap water and then drink it.i store the filtered water and consume it within two days because of the danger of post filtration contaimination.

Hi, Well in my dads house we lived on boiled water, which didnt taste too bad at all, but alot of time consumed on boiling, waiting for water to cool and then bottling the water, then storing it in the fridge for when ever and this happened everyday, until we moved into our own place in a whole different town, now we drink straight from the tap and its a whole lot easier, less time consuming and taste great... We bottle it anyway, because we love our water chilled...

My family uses tap water, boil it, filter it then refrigerated. The bottled water is expensive and there are hundreds of fly-by=night companies involved in bottling plants and they are just unscrupulous.

In my country....the tap water is not that safe to be drank directly. It contains a lot of chlorine which is not good for health. They add it in order to kill the micro organisms present in the water. So i normally go for bottled water as it is more safe. Now boiling the tap water can also solve the problem but then the nutrients present in the water are also lost in doing so. Therefore i prefer bottled water.

I like to drink boiled tap water because I know it's cleaned by me and I feel safer drinking it. Also I find it way more delicious than the bottled water. I find the bottled water taste a bit funny and some are even disguisting, if I could avoid bottled water, I would. But sometimes when I go out and it gets too hot or I get too thirty, I would buy the bottled water.
