Did you ever visited the Philippines? If you did, share me your experiences and your feedback about the Philippines. If you do not still visited the Philippines, please share your impression about my country. All impressions or feedbacks, positive or otherwise, are welcome.
Para naman sa mga nakatira dito sa Pilipinas, ano naman ang masasabi ninyo sa bansa natin?

Out of all the international airports I've been through, Manila is by far the most corrupt (Out of 4 visits, I've had to fill out 3 police reports)...Maybe just bad luck. Good thing is thats not a representation of the people. Since I haven't done a lot of sight seeing in the PI, I can't really say anything good or bad, but most of the people are pleasant, and very nice. The country does seem extraordinarily poor though.
Some of my neighbors are from the PI, and I'd really want to visit the country some day (as long as I can avoid Manila Air Port). As for the people, I find them more religious then most, family (Mom, Dad, Siblings) is put first over the marriage (not always but many times), and most of the women (and some guys) make great cooks...
I learn more about the PI culture and history everyday when I talk to some of my PI friends. I'll admit, I don't know a lot, so my opinions are changing (for the positive).

Sad to hear that you experienced the corruption in our country. But then, that is undeniably true. For years now, we are struggling with our corrupt government. It is sad that my country blessed by God with a wonderful seas, mountains, and flora and fauna to be full to the gills with corrupt people. We are already listed by international groups as one of the most corrupt country in asia.
And that's not all, the government is silent about the the killings of people that is militant against the administration. I hope that I am not scaring you about my country. I am just telling you the truth so that you will not be surprised if you got here.
On the positive side. Our country is blessed by talented and wonderful people, so don't feel discouraged of going here.

Absolutely, I wouldn't be discouraged. I just don't like the area around the Manila AP. I've seen pictures of a place in the center of the country that had some of the most gorgeous flora I've seen. There were also lots of mountain peeks. I don't remember the name, but it was popular as a tourist attraction. That area would be my first stop.

If its flora and fauna that you want to see, then I recommend that you go to Palawan Is. It is rich in marine fauna because of its still unspoiled coral reefs. This place also had underwater caves.
You may want to visit the Mayon Volcano...the only volcany with the most perfect cone.
