I love going to my gym, I go five times a week, but now, after the episode where my mobile phone got stolen, I feel that I have been violated, and now I feel that the gym is not a nice place to be, training with someone who has stolen my phone is NOT a nice feeling to have. I could be running on the treadmill besides a low life piece of scum. What I feel like tonight is that I CAN'T prove who it was but I do have a sneaky position I know it's wrong to think this way I'm sorry but if I was to follow that bloke out to find out where his car is and next time make a horrid scrach mark on his car, they wouldn't be able to prove it's me, just as much as I can't prove it's him SATISFACTION! Ok you'll tell me it's wrong but right now I know I'm going to feel uncomfortable every time I walk in the gym knowing there is a dirty, cheap, nasty scummy thief amongst us HE'S GOT AWAY WITH IT!

I can understand you are feeling in hyper pissy mode and you are on super vengeance alert, but you know as well as I do that karmically it will damage us more than the ruddy person that stole your phone. You are better than that Wolfie, that's why we, your little friends on mylot, love you so much. We love you for who you are and you don't deserve to have all this crap happen to you, but think positive and good things will come believe me..They will, I am a stubborn old cow and am being positive, despite the shite thrown at me lol.

Why can't you use a locker, dude? Or have they all broken down? I normally leave my bag (phone inside) in the open shelves and it is always fine. Guess I have been lucky. Sorry to hear about that. I read your prior discussion but didn't reply. Know that I am as mad as you to hear what happened to you though.

Trouble is the lockers are outside the mens changing room which can be awkward, although I used it today, it's free and I emphasized the fact that we all have to be careful now, the gym management have been very supportive and very helpful indeed to poor little wolfie

Poor wolfie. If you can't have the best of all worlds, you need to make a choice. I would just make the extra few steps just so my things would be safe in the locker.

I would be concerned that whoever stole that mobile might want to steal again. I am very sorry. What a shame that someone would take what does not belong to them......did you file a complaint with the gym and also did you notify the police?

Yes on both counts, nothing much the gym can do sadly and the police were a waste of time, but thanks my friend

It's ahsame that you have been going to that same gym for years and this had to happened I was wondering do they have a security cameras there maybe they can find something there. (just a thought) I know you are very angry and had a bad day. Was the police helpful? It's going to be hard to prove who did it but if the camera shows something that would help.

Here's some sweet revenge for you. One of our cell phones was stolen out of our car last year. I called up the company and told them it was stolen and asked if there was any way to have the phone's id number flagged so that it can never be reactivated. She said on my model yes there was a way to do that and assured me there was no way that phone could ever be reactivated. So the thieving scum got away with the phone but will never be able to use it! I love it! HA!

that's so horrible. having our stuffs stolen will really make not just our day bad... but we will always remember that one bad day when something that means so much to us was stolen and we just can't get it back. doesn't your gym has a locker room? and isn't it safe to put your stuffs there? that's kinda weird. i had been to gym classes sometime last year. we do have our own lockers but still, i bring with me my mobile phone everywhere i go inside the gym. that's why i have a necklace like string attached to my celphone so i can just have it around my neck. and if moving a lot, i will just put it on the floor right next to me where i can see it all the time. i am sorry to hear about what happened to you. and i hope that person can be caught and will be punished.

i would scratch his car if i was you. i know people are not gonna agree with this but this is the only way to get him back if you have a positive idea it was him who robbed your phone wolfie. revenge is sweet

It's perfectly fine to feel this way, it's how you feel my friend. :) Just don't allow the idiot to ruin your fun or cost you any more than what he already has. Keep at it and you never know after thinking when you're heads more clear you might not regret it. (stop using the gym I mean) etc Kudos buddy, ~Joey

Yup, I'd feel the same way if it means anything. I bet the police wasn't much help either but I hope something good comes from this :) ~Joey

Sorry to hear about your phone, it is a horrible thing to happen and then you mistrust everyone. Scratching his car will definately make you feel better but make sure there are no security cameras around first lol! In arguments etc I always say be the better person and walk away but I know that will not help in this instance. I do believe in what comes around goes around and hopefully he'll get his soon enough. If not you could always ask someone to put a hex on him.

just make sure the gym parking lot doesnt have a camera =) I know you feel like getting revenge. It feels so sweet sometimes, but what if you get caught? Then you are in trouble and it would make matters worse. I know why you feel this way and do not fault you for it. Just be careful, dont be getting into any trouble now Wolfie.

revenge is sweet, huh? yup. sometimes, it is when we think about it. but if we look deeper, it might just worsen the situation for you. it's just that it feels better if you can do something bad to that person, too. but it's always better to keep your cool. but still, i hope for that person to be caught and punished!

It's only natural to think that way, but it isn't helpful to anyone. It certainly doesn't help you. If you can't let things like that go, then you will just have so much stress that life won't be any fun. There are just too many people like that to have that reaction whenever things like this happen. Also think about this. What if that guy you have the suspicion about isn't the one. Then he may be the one thinking "Some jerk keyed my car for no reason. This gym isn't a nice place to be. I could be on the treadmill next to him. Etc, etc, etc." In that case, you would have caused another the same undue pain as you were caused, and is that really worth the risk just for some satisfaction?

Cool your jets mate! I would advise against keying his car or any kind of retaliation. It's just typical that you would do that then find out it wasn't him who nicked you phone, then you'll feel like a right donkey! There are thieving scumbags everywhere, in the workplace is one of the worst, I've found. I can't believe people would steal from colleagues and carry on working together without batting an eyelid. As people have said - chalk it up to experience and let karma catch up with the git. Don't let it stop you from enjoying your gym either.

My friend you have every right to feel MAD!! One of my girlfriends is quite funny and after having her purse moble phone and perfume stolen at work she decided on her revenge she made one of those voodoo dolls stuck pins in it used the hair from the person she knew had taken her stuff out of her comb lol The thing is she broke the dolls leg and her so called thief fell on the pavement and needed an ambulance yes she broke her leg now my friend is feeling really bad she believes she has done this dreadful thing,me i think its coincidence. I found out about this after the deed so now my friend is visiting her buying her things and they have become best buddys and my friends phone was returned from someone else who had picked it up instead of there own and had been on holiday! Your not a vandal your better than that don't let this person get to you he will get his a some point without you doing a thing
