Well, I would go if I felt comfortable with it. If I was uncomfortable, then the day before the party, I would go by and drop off a gift, and tell him thanks for the invitation, but I could not make it to the party tomorrow. It just depends on the situation. My ex- would think that I would want to get back with him if I ever showed up, so I would have to be careful.
